Blaze Union: Story to Reach the Future is the Japan-exclusive prequel to Yggdra Union. It was released in Japan for the PSP on May 27th, 2010 and has yet to see an English-language release. It had a completely different development team from Yggdra Union, and because of this the game received a lot of a criticism, particularly for Rui Kousaki's illustrations. However, the game was still well-received by many fans of the original Yggdra Union. It features the same style of gameplay they had come to love, and many characters from Yggdra Union also make an appearance in the story. Blaze Union also boasts branching paths and multiple endings, giving it greater replay value. |
