"Riviera: The Promised Land" remaster released on Steam (No Replies)
Riviera has been released on Steam, on July 16, 2024, just five days shy of the 22th anniversary of its July 12, 2002 Wonder Swan release. (Discrepancies in arithmetic may be due to time zones.)

It has a 20% discount (from $35 USD base price, in the US) until July 30, 2024. You can get a multiplicational 10% off (28% discount) if you already have Yggdra Union (through the "Buy Rviera[sic] - Yggdra Union BUNDLE".) (Yggdra Union has not gone lower than -20% in the past year it's been out, so this is probably the best discount you'll get for a while, unless you want to wait for both to be on sale for a better bundle.)

Earlier, Riviera was released on iOS App Store and Android Play Store in May of this year, but only in Japanese.

It was also released on Switch, in February, again only in Japan. The Steam version is the first English release of Riviera since the PSP jelly in 2007.

Someone add these new releases to the Wikipedia page.

Yggdra Union Steam+Switch versions coming to the west! (No Replies)
They're ready to give us everything, guys. We're getting Yggdra Union's Nintendo Switch port and the full Steam/PC version in the west on July 27th! For anyone who hasn't kept up, these versions of the game have some extra features compared to the PSP version, including a playable Flunky and the ability to speed up the combat even more than you could on PSP! We have to band together and buy it! Maybe Sting will give us a new game if we do...

Riviera HD Remaster Coming! (No Replies)
Sting was nice enough to let us know that today, Riviera is old enough to legally drink alcohol in the US. It's 21 years old! I'm so proud of Riviera. Remember that thread on the forum where we all gushed about how Riviera changed our lives? I still think about that sometimes.

Anyway, they also mentioned an HD Remaster! I have no idea what that entails because this is Riviera, which has refused to stop using the same sprites from the original WSC version of the game, but GUYS WHAT IF THEY REALLY DID A THING THIS TIME. Think about it!
