I'm going on my second playthrough, and I want to get more of the experience I missed like purifying the skull in lacrima castle.

Rhythm traps? Aren't they just "tap the buttons in the right order within the time limit"?

Just tap the sequence shown on the screen......until the whole line is finished, then you get your reward.

I'm not completely sure I understand your problem, but eh. I can always try.

Wait, are these the ones with the line and the moving dot and the buttons above the line? I've hated those ever since the damn rock-skipping thing in Mireno's underground lake.
Anyway, if that's what it is, all you have to do is wait until the dot moves underneath each icon and then tap whatever button that icon represents right as the dot passes under it. But if you keep doing it for like forty sequences or something your rock makes it to the other end and kills a skeleton fencer. And then you get a crapload of points. Unless you're aiming for a high score and have a rock to burn, it's totally not worth it.
