Haha, well here's an update :3



That's the sprites I've done so far, now for Cierra and Ein and the rest T.T

All of this sprite almost look like character from tales of world series.(the gba version)(psp version sucks)

Fia is using rutee sprite.Lina is chester sprite while lethe is using student(kyaro costume) sprite.

Lethe's costume is 100% scratch btw
Even Lina's and Fia's so yeah >.>

Rapiers have an inverted dome guard, I think.

That'll be impossible to implement into the sprite style we're aiming for specially noting that sprites are kinda simplified version of the characters?

Just adding in my 2 cents to say that it's a futile effort to go that far in my opinion. Sprite details in this style can only go so far, and sometimes it's just a waste of effort to do such things.

Not to totally refute your criticism, I understand it, but I just think that it may be a little extreme to go as far as the hilt of a blade on a puny sprite like that. :3

Oh trust me, it's little details that make or break a game. However, your call; I'm not going to pressure you to do it.

Try to remember, that those little things lead to bigger problems.
The more detailed an image is, the more frames of animation required to trick the brain into thinking it's moving. So, if they go overboard with the detail, it will either be another ten years to a beta release, or we'll get the shitty type of twitchy animation you saw in Odin Sphere - beautiful sprites without enough frames to make the animation look natural.

H scenes are probably in, but we're not going to throw any text at all in them. It's just CGs for each situation, you view em, unlock them, move on with the fucking story.

...and seeing how you could seduce the girls from Riviera, I actually have to second Sturm. I could have never imagined it, but the game and its girls mean too much to me for me to see an in-game scene with them getting fucked, sorry.

I'd have nothing against (more open if you know what I mean) bath scenes though.
