This is NOT a submission post. Both of these fics are probably unsuitable to be linked here because of their highly graphic content. Do not read these unless you have the maturity to deal with the subject matter. Flamers will be fed to Juggernaut. He's as hungry as I am. Grr. Anywayyyyy... A Very Riviera ChristmasWhen Ein finally returns to Elendia in time for Christmas, a peaceful life seems within reach at last. He just wasn't counting on getting snowed in with his six best friends during a blizzard... Mostly LxE with some onesided ExF and ExC. The infamous fic that put me on the board for the Riviera fans. Yes, it does contain fairly graphic yaoi sex in some of the later chapters, so if you dislike that, give it a miss. Jugement du CielThe Magi have found a way to help their Grim Angels regain themselves. Ledah agrees to undergo this trial in hopes of winning back Ein's wings. However, he must do it completely alone, and the cost could be deadly. LxE This one hasn't gotten nearly as much attention as AVRC has, and that annoys me because I think it's much better-written. In addition to some graphic sex scenes, there's also a lot of violence and some discussion of child abuse. I used this fic to explore Ledah's backstory and have some fun with his character, as well as to tell the story about how Ein gets his wings back, sort of. If interested, please read and review. Oh, and as soon as I start getting The Tainted posted, I'll leave a link for you guys. That fic should stay T-rated because there's not going to be any sex. I'm... breaking from my usual Ledah/Ein thing, shall we say... and exploring a pairing I think would be interesting. I.e., Ein/Malice. It'll be fun, I think. QUOTE (Swifty-chan @ Apr 22 2006, 02:03 PM) | Note that this post may contain spoilers for Feral's ficcies, so please skip this post if you haven't read any of her fics.
Well, I read (and finished) 'A Very Riviera Christmas' long time ago and finished 'Jugement du Ciel' few days ago... I have one question to ask (or a complain to make?).
Why do you always have to end a story with a sad ending!? >_< ... okay, perhaps not really sad, but still... there's this strange empty feeling whenever I read the endings. You killed Ein and Ledah in AVRC, and have them reunited with Malice. Okay, I don't really mind that... but Ledah getting arthritis in JDC is... is... *sigh* You're so cruel~ T_T
Hidoii~! |
You finished them? Why didn't you REVIEW them? I love it when they're read but I like it better when people REVIEW.
And hey, they don't all end sadly.
I'm just a mean bitchy author.
XD
Really, though, many of my fanfics do have those kinds of "true" endings. I knew that JdC was going to end like that, as part of the point in writing it was to really make Ein and Ledah seem human--with human flaws and weaknesses, too. Because, you know, no human would be able to take a beating like Ledah did without some permanent damage occurring.
I still don't know how The Tainted is going to end, but Consequences is a more realistic story, too (though it'll have a happy ending, I think...). That one hasn't been started yet; it'll be Ein/Serene if I write it.

^^' Sorry~ I just dunno how to review. Typing "OMGITSSONICECANTWAITFORNEXTCHAPPIELEDAHLEDAHLEDAH!" sounds too cliched, hyper, fangirl-ish that would *cough* lower my image... but ohh, I'll try to review just for you. XP

Well, yeah. But Ein and Ledah are Grim Angels, or even if the Retribution thingies are over and there's no need for Grim Angels, they would at least remain as Angels, right? Unless you turned them into humans or sprites in your story, shouldn't they at least be stronger?
... But yeah, Ledah has taken too much beating (*sob*)... Still... @_@' Oh, you're the authoress. >_> <_< >_>

UNORTHODOX Ein/Serene. :D It starts out Ein/Fia and slowly becomes Ein/Serene, anyway, but I have to finish The Tainted first. :D
Grim Angels are still mortals, and in the game, Ledah still died of blood loss like a human would after being attacked twice by Malice.
In a good review, tell me what you like, what you didn't like (but NICELY), what you want to see, and if my typos and redundancies got too annoying. And anything else that seems pertinent.
Okay? :D
