So, would episode 1 be the last chronologicly in dept. heaven? Does it go forward from the higher numbered episodes? Thanks.

It could be. But it could also be the other way. Or, it could be that they're going in the order that they're released, which would explain why Episode III is missing.

THEORY: What if they're going backwards? Like Riviera is episode 6 and Yggdra Union is episode 5? And there are still three games to come after this?
