QUOTE (Raijinili @ May 19 2006, 11:28 PM) | I think you have a superiority complex.
Also, kids are jerks. You can't do anything about the past, but you can try to influence your juniors. Adults know that kids are jerks, but they don't think they can do anything about it without being unfair to one party or another. Actually, it's more like, if they make a decision, it might be wrong.
Again, you have a superiority complex. This is a problem. I suggest that you ponder a little about your personality, and why it's this way. Don't stop at conclusions; think of as many possibilities as you can, and explore them as far as you can. It won't make you a better person, but... I dunno, actually. It's made me pretty skeptical and unconfident. Maybe you shouldn't do it. |
What do you mean by "you have a superiority complex"?
That I think I'm better than other people?
If so... you're completely right. I do think I'm better than most people (keyword being most).
I fail to see how it's a problem though... People that don't believe in themselves usually end up jumping off a bridge, or becoming drug-addicts (there's a difference between doing drugs for fun, and being addicted).
And I do ponder about my personality... That's the main point of this thread: to write about my memories, and possibly write about how I think they affected me.

A superiority complex is a problem because you're less open to ideas that you didn't think of yourself. It creates a closed mind. Well, not completely closed, but it closes more than... well, you get what I'm saying.

I don't see any real point in this thread other than to overdramatize your life to complete strangers for the express purpose of saying "Haha, I'm so awesome" for some ulterior motive. Possibly to gain respect, or to gain an aura of self importance for a place you're new to.

There's nothing to be jealous of. I'm just saying what I think of this thread.

QUOTE (Leyviur @ May 23 2006, 03:54 PM) | Duly noted.
But I dunno, telling your life story to a bunch of strangers seems like an odd thing to do. Maybe it's just me, but I really don't feel like telling people about how my life wasn't a tiptoe through the tulips, even if they're friends. |
That's true enough... I rarely talk about myself to people in real life...
I dunno, I mostly did it for fun. Having people not actually know who I am made it a lot easier.
I'm rarely called Seldom in real life.
