I'm glad you're not doing those super long faces anymore.

Although her neck needs to come out a bit more.

Buddhu: That's so awesome. I really like the pose, and the kinda... calm feel the picture has XD. You can download OC as many times as you want, yes.

Disgaea 2 gunner. Drawn at Mari's oekaki. I made it transparent because the original background was mucho lame... but the original is [here]. But you really aren't missing much. One of my first real attempts at solid shading. It turned out better than I anticipated it would. Yes, I am aware the shading/lighting makes absolutely no sense at all XD. I got lazy and just schlepped shading and lighting wherever I wanted to.

To Liger:

Yay, I'm so glad (for the unlimited download). I think your drawing is absolutely adorable, I love the smile~

To Feral:

If you have Photoshop, then shading isn't too difficult. The problem with it is that unless you have clean lineart or can ink the drawing, it's really, really hard to shade....so I discovered a little thing called the pen tool and my life became so much easier...I'm really not good at shading, so I can't really give you tips besides for think where the light source is, and...hope something magical happens (in my case, that's all i can hope for...DX)

:3 Still patiently anticipating my tablet's arrival...I want to draw~

Make Layers with the Multiply affect. No matter how crappy the lineart is you'll still be able to use it if you color on a multiply layer.

For Opencanvas or Photoshop? I know it works for OC, but I like to have crisp lineart. :3

...question directed toward anyone...

Does anyone know if ALL tablets are compatible with different software? I'm really afraid mine won't work with OC..

Feral, if you'd like to see how it works, I'd be willing to ink a drawing of yours so you could color it.

Just a quick doodle. The oekaki I drew this at ate it, so... I didn't get to finish it. So I just added a little loveheart on it in Paint and called it finished XD.

---

Buddhu: Don't worry too much. Tablets should work with all software, as long as you install all the drivers it comes with (if any).

Feral: Set your lineart layer to multiply and make layers under the lineart to color on.

If you need any help.. I tried my best to put something together ([CLICK HERE] and uh, warning, large picture). If you still need help uh... feel free to PM me? XD. I'll try my best to help you out.

Ya know what? Maybe I should stop trying to "fix" my drawing style. Dernits. It's getting uglier and uglier and messier and ew. The only thing I like about this is the eye. Tha'ssit.

Buddhu: Nice job, the colors really blend well. The only thing that bothers me is the eye, but that's all. Nice close up.

Liger: Amazing job on the colors and shine!
