OH. GOD.

NEVER. EVER. DOING. BACKGROUNDS. EVER AGAIN.

And it's not even like the background is all that good. Oh well. I'll... um... get better with practice.

Yes those are stripes on her pants legs. Yes they are supposed to be there. That is all I have to say.

I should actually be studying for midterms but that's ok. I fail at Spanish. OMG. NECESITO... EL PAN. xD

Necesito pan porfavor? De verdad, no tengo mucha comida en casa. Espero que alguien me ayude, si no voy a murir de hambre.

I really like the background! Sooner or later you're going to have to learn to do some, so don't feel bad! Go go go!

And omg Buddhu Kino icons.

:B

Le gusta Kino? Que bien! Y..si no tiene mucha comida en casa, puede comprarle...dulces y...frutas..

Y...no hablo Espanol en casa, pero estoy en la clase, si tenga (creo que es la forma correcta) interes.

Gosh, I hope that sounded okay.

Oh, and, Liger...

No more saying your drawings aren't nice (especially the backgrounds). Ever.

Very nice backgrounds, Liger. You don't have to be very creative to make backgrounds that work.

I haven't posted here lately. Time to show some sketches I've been doing for the last month...

#1: Girl on Fungus
Yes. A girl on a fungus. Or mushroom, whatever. I wouldn't sit on a fungus. Would you sit on a freakin' fungus? I mean, who sits on a freakin' fungus?! Well, this girl does.

#2: Ninja
I like ninjas. It's even better if they were posing an awesome pose or something. Anyway, this is Izuna from the Legend of the Unemployed Ninja.

#3: Guitar on Stand
A still-life of my guitar. It's a Fender, given to me by my brother because he lost interest in it. Boo. I think he's still paying for it, and it's been 2 years already.

#4: Angel Sketch
Breaking down features. Concept sketch...

#5: Something Strange Happening
I was bored when I drew this in English class.

#6: Face of a Dead Man
#7: "Oh, no! He's dead!"
#8: Haruko thinks fast on her feet; gives him a quick CPR, which is not drawn, because I didn't want to. Well, it's more because I was too lazy.
#9: Mamimi watches in awe.
#10: Naota in Agony
The last five are all from FLCL. I like that anime.

Hh. Chris's art is really nice. Good work, too, Christ. Needs some work on the anatomy, though. The body and arms being too thin and long, and it being a tad stiff.

Otherwise, awesome shading, great hair, nice face. Generally, good work.

I agree with Swiyth--the overall artwork's great, although the limbs are a tab bit too long. But other than that, the shading and all's great! :D

Hmm. Though, i want to ask...What media are you using? HB Pencil? Mechanical? Looks like you're using 4B pencils, though... Only those stuff can shade that well. I haven't used pencils in a long time. Maybe you can give me some tips on shading.

What the hell, my name is Chris, not Christ.

They're thin and long because I made them distorted, to give you an impression that you're looking at it at an angle rather than seeing it smack in the middle, because I find that a bit boring.

I used a regular writing mechanical pencil for both sketching and shading. It takes SKILLS to shade that well!

Thanks alot, guys. Ah, if you're referring to the anatomy in the sketch I posted, I'll be sure to remember that in the future.

Who, me? I use 0.7 mechanical pencil for everything. =)
