Now playing Soul Nomad and the World Eaters, just released by NIS in the USA.
I preordered thru Gamestop. They had 2 copies, one of which was mine. Its true that there are a ton of game stores where I live, but come on, 2 copies??? I guess if you want a NIS game, you have to preorder.
Very weird mix of elements in that game. People like to compare it to Disgaea - but I never played Disgaea so I don't know...
Can't compare it to Ogre Battle either. Ogre battle has a lot of unit-level customization. Soul Nomad has almost no unit-level customization. It's all squad-level.

In the second mission, you get a choice of whether you want to use Gig's power to defeat one of the World Eaters (I think it's the game end boss). If you choose yes, he gives you Gig Edict MAX, which raises your level by 2,000 for a single battle. After using it, it's super-easy to beat the World Eater easily, but once you do, it's game over. I suspect bad endings like these are sprinkled throughout the game. If you don't use Gig's power, you run away and the mission ends.

I didn't know Soul Nomad came out recently.

Heavenly Sword- My sister's boyfriend brought over his PS3, so I was playing that for a good chunk. Anyways, just got Noriko the Heavenly Sword back, so now I have to kill some junk.

Valkyrie Profile 2- Seraphic Gate stuff.

Tomb Raider: Legend - Started on it last night, played it for almost 10 hours straight and beat it. I had a lot of fun playing it, honestly. I don't know if it was the (although too few IMO) puzzles, or the (although mostly one-way) adventuring and exploration, but it was fun for me. Although the ending was a little... disappointing.

X-Men Legends 2 -Cheet codez goe. I haven't beaten my first file yet, but I started a new one and am screwing around with cheat codes that I had no idea existed in the game. I'm also discovering horrible bugs and errors that make me wonder just who tested the game... >_>

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness - Okay, please kill me now. I decided to go back to this game for some reason, and now I have to power level. Purr purr.

Sonic Rush Adventure- why does this game seem so similar to PH in plot? Sky Babylon Boss. This guy is cool.
Eternal Sonata- beat Captain Dolce, having fun with Polka.
Halo 3- me and a bunch of dudes are trying to beat Legendary mode in 3 hours with almost no deaths. DAMN NEAR IMPOSSIBLE.
