The first part has finally been subbed and is out.

I watched it and I loved it. I can't wait for the next part.

Anyone else watched it?

Nasu is a shitty writer.

And for god's sake, I know Tsukihime was based off the novel, but pretty much all the character designs are EXACTLY THE SAME.

STOP BEING SO FUCKING LAZY.

I might watch it. Main character is definitely more interesting than Shiki.

Well, I watched it.

It has some great music (no, I'm not talking about the opening), sfx and background cgs, but it is frankly one of the most lazily animated things I've ever watched.

What really bugs me is how minimalistic it tries to be, while alternatively trying to stuff an entire story into one episode, and thus you end up with Nasu's infamous introspective scenes for any one character to try to "sum up" things, or over explain them. Fortunatly, Shiki has none(jesus, I know the reasons they have the same name and about SHIKI and all, but it's still annoying), so by default, she's more likable than Shirou or Tohno Shiki.

If you took those out, fixed the animation, I'd probably enjoy it a lot more.

The Light Novel seems to sort of address the STUFFED FULL OF UNNECESSARY SEGMENTS, but I think the anime is probably slightly better at this point.

I guess I'll watch the rest of it too.

Murder Speculation (Part 1) is out.

Sadly, I have to admit it's a little boring. Some on others boards commented that the preview for next episode was more interesting than the second movie. I kinda have to agree with them. Still, there are some interesting parts in the movie.

Hopefully, Remaining Sense of Pain, the third one, won't be anywhere near boring.

I hate you Mega.

This was far better than the first episode. Anyone who disagrees only liked the first one because OMG FIGHT SCENES. This was a lot more subtle and well presented. It also had better music.

Well, it's not like I can tell you what to like and hate. Maybe I just prefer the Shiki from the first one. Besides, I never said I hated it.

Oh well.

Shiki in the first one doesn't even have any proper character development. She goes through leaps and bounds in the second.

You must be allergic to plot if you dislike Murder Spec (Pt1).

Well, maybe it's because I read everything that had been translated from the novels.

I suppose I'll just watch it again

And...

You said it was boring.

I've read everything translated of the novel so far. The second episode misses only like 2 lines but the first misses a shitton of dialog.

Fine, I'm wrong. I admit it.

It's just that at the time, I already knew what was going to happen.

I think the running showed his fear better than just sitting there would have. They could easily have done the facial expressions, but NOT THE STUMBLING

I've just finished watching the two that are subbed, and I agree with Rhia and Asaph. The second one's better than the first one.

Also, I am fairly certain that even with the MEDP, Shiki would not be able to leap across rooftops. That just seems a bit too ridiculous in my opinion.
