Ugress - Trigger 22
DIDN'T REALLY LIKE IT. There's nothing really wrong with it, I guess, it just seemed boring to me. I'd probably like it in a game or a trippy scene in a movie, though...

I knew it sounded really familiar. Chord progression or whatever sounds like Tubular Bells 1 by Mike Oldfield (or at least the beginning) Tubular Bells HereHip-hop sort of beat, and sort of creepy sounding lyrics and dissonant violins, but nothing too memorable or exciting. From Asaph. Reminds me a lot of the P3 tracks that play when you run around the city/school, and I liked those. That's it. 7/10

Summertime Clothes - Animal CollectiveLyrics: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Sweet summer night and I'm stripped to my sheets Forehead is leaking, my AC squeaks and A voice from the clock says, "You're not gonna get tired" My bed is a pool and the walls are on fire Soak my head in the sink for a while Chills on my neck and it makes me smile but My bones have to move and my skin's gotta breathe You pick up the phone and I'm so relieved You slide down your stairs to the heated street And the sun has left us with slippery feet And I want to walk around with you And I want to walk around with you And be here with you, we're goin'
It doesn't really matter, I'll go where you feel Hunt for the breeze, get a midnight meal I point in the windows, you point out the parks Rip off your sleeves and I'll ditch my socks We'll dance to the songs from the cars as they pass Weave through the cardboard, smell that trash Walking around in our summertime clothes, Nowhere to go while our bodies glow And we'll greet the dawn in its morning blues With purple yawn, you'll be sleeping soon And I want to walk around with you And I want to walk around with you
When the sun goes down, we'll go out again Don't cool off, I like your warmth
Let's leave the sound of the heat for the sound of the rain It's easy to sleep when it wets my brain It covers my rest with a saccharine sheen Kissing the wind through my window screen The restlessness calls us, that I cannot hide So much on my mind that it spills outside Do you want to go stroll down the financial street? Our clothes might get soaked, but the buildings sleep And there's no one pushing for a place As we end up at an easy pace And I want to walk around with you And I want to walk around with you I want to walk around with you Just you, just you, just you...

"The Weight of Love Blinds Eyes" - EmarosaLyrics: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I wanted to believe that I could be anyone. But only when I'm not alone. And obviously there's no danger in having hope, Having hope in anyone but me. On a better day, I would be way more awake. Falling off, I'm losing faith. If it's all the same, I will just take my things anyway.
If this is love, if this is love, Then I would run far, run fast, from me. Forgive me if I leave the keys.
I knew I would let you down. I'd betray your confidence, how much do you trust me now? No. Well everyone else here sees, your eyes they can't perceive me. I hate the sound of your voice, cause it still haunts me like a ghost. But I know that I'm to blame, cause I've never been anyone else. And I'm not numb cause I'm lying awake, Cause I know I'll never change.
If this is love, if this is love, Then I would run far, run fast, from me.
I never said I was an angel. There's a simple explanation for it all. It's all my fault. The snow melts away, I'm close to the ending now. I don't want to be saved.
If this is love, if this is love, Then I would run far, run fast, from me. Forgive me if I leave the keys.
Apparently, of the Post-hardocre genre, though I have no idea. I really like the Jonny Craig's voice not only as a part of Emarosa but as a solo artist as well. It was really hard trying to choose between his solo work, the sound of new Emarosa, or older scremo Emarosa (I had about five different songs in mind); because they can sound very different, due to his roots in soul and gospel music. Anyway, hope you enjoy. If not, eh. PLUS HE'S SUCH A BOSS.
