Just the way it's presented, and general themes in the story. For example, ninety nine percent of the playable characters you recruit as spirits. You often watch their death scenes. The really dark atmosphere, the turn limiting and time limiting (like the phases or whatever it was that decided how many dungeons you could go to and people you could recruit in VP). Some other things that are probably more my interpretation and experience than can relate to anyone else.

Yes it does have a very similar style but does Valkyrie profile look as sexy as KitN? I don't think so.

i have to agree in some points.
but valkyrie profille isnt darker as kitten is. im sure of this. the special weapon thing sure made me remenber of VP some times,and maria remenbers me so much of silmeria ~~~ I FINALLY COMPLETED EVERYTHING IN EXTRA CONTENTS TO 100%! BAMN!
