(sorry, haven't found a thread for stupid questions, feel free to point me at one)

Finished the game at normal difficulty. Haven't unlocked _anything_ - no extra content, not even a hard mode (contrary to a Questions thread). Feeling frustrated. Could I possibly do something wrong? Any hints please?

There aren't any Extra Contents in Kitten like there are in Riviera and YU, if that's what you mean, so that's normal. If you meant MelliaMode, then you have to load your clear data to start that. But I have no idea why Hard Mode didn't get unlocked... This is definitely a silly question, but are you sure you didn't accidentally select easy when you started the game?

Also, I can't remember if it tells you it's unlocked after beating the game. Try starting a new game (up until the difficulty selection, anyway) just to make sure, if you haven't already.

And if you're absolutely sure about all of that... then I have no idea what's wrong, honestly. It's the first time I've heard of it not unlocking after Normal mode.

That seems wrong, Arch. The game requires too much planning and the like for it to be true.

And I've never beaten the game in five hours, yet I have it unlocked in both versions of the game. :(

Thanks, but I think I've mentioned that I've read this.

Rhiannon
Thank you for your help.
Yes, I've double-checked that I have completed a 'normal' game - I have a save that reads "Law and Chaos. Save Before the game's end. Difficulty: Normal". Also, 'Levelling' option is now disabled for me, which mean game 'know' I've completed it... Still, when I try to start a new game (I tried of course, with and without rebooting the game), there are only 'Easy' and 'Normal' options.
So I guess I'm just unlucky ( I remember having similar troubles with extra pics in Riviera PSP, got to unlock other pictures to get the missing ones... But I think this is not the case.

5 hours? I hope you're kidding - it took me more then 22 hours for my first run =)

You're not playing on an emulator or have any cheat devices/software enabled? Are you playing on a DSi?
All those types of things have been known to screw up past Sting games.

Dr. Sturm
I'm playing on my friend's DS lite. With no cheat software installed AFAIK.

But if that does matter I'm playing off SD-card (via M3 Real something thing) - Sting games are not sold in my country, so I have to import them, which I haven't done for KitN yet... Not sure I'll do it all, considering this bug and the fact I don't even own DS... TT
