Is Knights in the Nightmare ever going to come out on PSP? I know that is just came out but I'm curious to know if they would ever do that.
I don't want to buy a DS just for this game like i did for Yggdra Union (I bought a PSP just for it). I don't know what off-topic stuff you people are talking about. This is the only post in this thread so far, after all.
Anyway, I beat Yggdra mode. The controls theoretically should be fine since you can adjust the speed, but I could never get used to doing that. The game was incredibly frustrating for me since I couldn't dodge things properly half the time, but I imagine that won't be a problem for everyone, and I'm guessing those who never played the DS version will have no problem at all. I'm uh, happy that the music quality is up, but I feel like it got a lot quieter (or maybe just certain instruments) too. Or maybe it's just the PSP's silly speakers, who knows. Either way, I don't like that. As for new content, there's practically nothing new outside of the story for Yggdra mode. There are no new scenes, no new bosses, barely any new attacks (aside from her Extra Skills, Yggdra just steals all of Maria's attacks), no new characters to recruit, no new music, and uh, one new item (the Sweetberry, which just replaces the Black/Silver Wings on Yggdra mode and has the same exact effect). Unless I just somehow conveniently missed even hints of it having anything else, but I doubt that. Even if they had somehow added a touch screen to the PSP, I'd still be disappointed with the game. Only Atlus can save it now, by doing to it what they did to RiviPSP. ~~~ “Every path has its puddleâ€

The original Japanese release of RiviPSP didn't have the full Chapter 8, so the English release of it was the first anyone saw of it. I'm just hoping for more in Kitten if/when they bring it over, really, so the port will feel more justified.

Atlus USA technically didn't do that. Sting was forced to do it if they wanted SCEA to allow Atlus USA to release it in America.

US Release for the PSP Version November 9th. I'm not buying it. (I'm broke [already having plans to shell off my wallet on Ys I & II Chronicles and Oath in Felghana], and I already had a hellish time with the DS Version. Great game, but hellish. Its kind of strange that they'd release the US version first. I don't think it did too bad or too well here but there even less people with PSPs and that market probably finds what they might find 'gimmicky' less appealing.

I don't know if this was mentioned already (and I apologize ahead of time if it was.), but Atlus USA is releasing Knights in the Nightmare PSP with a free download ticket for Yggdra Union on the PSN. I don't know how long the promotion will last, but it's a good deal for those who haven't played Yggdra Union yet. :)
