I think the dual screen thing is only so that your hand doesn't get in the way of the action. I'm sure the game would work on Wii. Might not be the most pleasant experience, but I'm certain it would work.

wii mote doesnt have the same grip as the styllus. you can notice it while playing metroid.

but you can imagine it in a home console?

Why not? It's not like I'd ever play Kitten NOT at home (or any DS game requiring the stylus, for that matter).

Heard of the PSP No? Maybe Sting will do what it's done with cellphones and release little games based on KITN for it (and hopefully a translation of Baroque Syndrome while we're at it).

OKAY.
I can't believe I'm saying this but they're actually releasing KiTN for the PSP as seen in this week's famitsu. I MEAN SERIOUSLY, WHAT?!

See, this is why I didn't post here. I think you're all crazy. :( It would definitely have inferior controls on a different system, but it WOULD work. Like it worked in Okami. Good thing you don't need to draw decent circles to progress in this game...

I take back what I said. Enzd reminded me that the PSP has a fake analog stick.

I am seriously starting to hate Sting. If this version of Kitten is not absolutely superior to the DS version, I'm done with the DHE series.

I thought of the same. KitN is so stylus heavy to be put in the psp, I hope it won't end up as a flop like Yggdra Unison or I will start hating any DHE related...

Why are you making such a big deal for Sting putting Knights in the Nightmare on the PSP?

Why would you hate Department Heaven just for that simple little thing. So just because they would go put KITN on the PSP you would hate everything related to DHE?

That is called a fake fan. Even just for the littlest thing, I wouldn't hate it. I don't care if they put Yggdra Union on the PS3, as long as they keep continuing to make games for DHE I am happy.

This is disgusting.

The PSP and the DS work very differently form each other, which is fine. I adore both systems. But some things were never meant to be ported. KITN is one of these things. There is no fucking way you could possibly replicate the battle system faithfully on the PSP. There is no need for this port to exist. I don't care what extras it's going to have, unless they somehow change it to play like a dream using button control, which I highly doubt since the battle system was made specifically for the touch screen, or even re-do the whole battle system in some balls-out way, which I also doubt happening, I'm not gonna buy it. It's 120% not worth it.

The Yggdra Union port worked because it always just relied on regular button control and nothing exclusive and/or gimmicky to a system like touch control. KITN did. They're taking away a large chunk of what makes it so damn good and unique.

I absolutely adore KITN, which is why I'm so angry, because this is nothing but pure pandering. It's disgusting on many levels. What the fucking fuck, Sting. Don't be a douche like this; you should know better.

All we can really do is hope some miracle level porting magic happens, but I'm not holding my breath.
