"Denethor, son of Ecthellion", yes, sounds awfully familiar...

It is. As far as i know, Ecthellion is japanese name of Einherjar.
But is it "Ecthellion" or "Excellion?" Because the walktrough on GameFAQS said "Ecthellion" while everybody here says "Excellion".

The hardest thing for me is inventory management. That inventory size is brutal. And items wear out. It's rough.

The button mashing sequences don't bother me too much... Although its frustrating when you just want to get this bonus and have to keep redoing the same area to get it right.

might be just me, but apart from the initial start with Ein and Ledah working together, i've never really had to use potions/bread/applecots etc to heal my characters =\. i mostly just get the healing herbs/applecots to give characters exp then ditch them when a weapon or powerup item rolls around.

again, might be just me, but after the first few fights after getting fia and lina and training them a bit, the group become strong enough as to not really need healing at all (except perhaps in the minor case of bosses). if healing is required by odd chance, i usually use a staff/book by fia, or one of those overdrives which somehow restores health.

so throw away those potions and wet bread and plop in an extra weapon/power up! faster you beat them up the better >=D.

i got trough the whole thing with out any potions too i think they just waste an item at a batle
