I used to be on food stamps while I was still unemployed, and more or less had to go through the same bullshit. After getting my first job back in 2016, me and my mother thought we could re-apply. After all, a little extra help never hurt, especially if it's to help my family.

You wanna know how much I was going to get? Not even $20. I laughed when I saw the letter that told me that I was getting that much. We never bothered going though that hell again.

I got kicked out of the cool (but tbh kinda shitty) farm I was living on last month because I didn't invite the landlord to play board games or go on spontaneous target runs often enough...
At least that's what some of the remaining tenants have been able to glean.
BUT IT'S OKAY because I'm closer to the busline now which turns my car into a glorious paperweight. Also I'm working at a job where I'm not abused by someone in authority! First time in 3.5 years!
So, aside from the substance abuse problems, I guess my life is on track to work every weekday until I keel over under my standing desk to escape the five million lines of vintage Italian code on it
