May I have the eternal winter back, please? I just took a walk (4.7 km!) and came back bathed in sweat although I was dressed lightly already, and had to take a second shower. Also, there were bikers everywhere along my route, and you had to take care to dodge them all the time. People sat on every benched I passed, and thus I was walking manually half of the time. Summer, please leave me alone.

I also saw three jetski riders rushing up and down the water. Then, one of them came to a halt. The rider fumbled with his machine, but to no avail; the second one noticed and turned back to help him, and called out to the third, but he was not paying attention and thus kept going. The two tried to restart the machine, but had no success before I had already walked out of sight.
On my way back, I saw the fire brigade driving past me with a boat in tow, which they proceeded to lower into the water. I assume they had received a call from the jetski riders, and were moving out to help them.
That feel when there are stories playing out outside of your room, and you only need to step outside to see them unfold.

Once you become aware of the presence of other people and that you have to pass them, your ass burgers and your gait stops naturally perpetuating itself, you need to take every step consciously until the danger has passed.

I don't think burger is a verb. I think you're making this up.

REREADING HARD TO ADMIT AND HARDER TO ESCAPE AGAIN (I THINK I REREAD IT EARLIER THIS YEAR) REMINDED ME AGAIN OF HOW SOMETIMES SARAH MANGUSO SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND LIFE HOW I UNDERSTAND IT. I almost want to reread The Guardians and The Two Kinds of Decay again. But no. I have to read other things.

I hope her name is pronounced like "mongoose-o"

My fridge shocks me every time I try to open it without shoes. This is distressing.

If I touch my laptop with my phone in a certain way my laptop dies or goes to sleep or something. Also distressing, though less so.

Since I'm not around as much I guess an update is in order. Currently in school for hospital administration business, lost 20 pounds in my 40 pound weight goal and plan to run a 5k soon and finally, turned 21 so I can now legally drink.

Just started actualnotcommunitycollege today.

My first class was advanced composition. I get to exaggerate a newspaper article of my choosing to the best of my ability. This will be enjoyable.

Then I had creative writing. We did boring haiku things. Least interesting class.

Next was film writing. We're gonna watch movies, and write bout them. So that's pretty cool if I get good movies.

Then History of the English Language. Exactly what it says on the tin, except with crazy linguistics thrown in to keep me on my toes.

I'm way too excited about this.

Meanwhile, I walk in to meet with my new studentjob boss regarding some vague training for some software I'd never heard of, and then he tells me CONGRATULATIONS YOU'RE IN CHARGE OF IT NOW. Now I can publish porn and terrible jokes to some mobile application thing that seems very informative for events, and they want me to get into their event planning committee to help with this beingincharge thing, and I can post to the school's Facebook and Twitter, and...

Real life makes no sense.
