I HAD A TEXT CHAT WITH A CAT VIA MSN

I had an MSN chat window open with a friend, though the conversation had died down.

Some time later, she buzzed me twice. I asked what was up, and got the following answer:

Needless to say, I was a bit confused. She soon signed off; when she returned, she explained that her cat had spilled some energy drink all over her keyboard, and subsequently walked around on it.

Which means that… I was sent two instant messages by a cat.

This is uncommon.

(The same cat is also prone to tearing out that person's ethernet cable and running away with it.)

I visited Linz today, a small city perhaps five kilometres upstream, and then over the ferry. My late great-grandmother, who lived in the village on the other side of the river, often visited it, as did and does my grandmother. It's been years since I last saw it though—a shame! A mere child last time, I probably lacked the eye for its beauties. Old, half-timbered houses line the narrow streets snaking from the riverbank up the mountain; it's adorable all around.

Got hit by a car today. Nothing serious, but fuck this "keep your limbs elevated" thing.
It was a chore just to type this and about the only thing I can do comfortably is read (next to no books in the house) or watch TV.
