Clearly I haven't been really keeping up with all the DS games that have been popping up. I'm planning to get one some time next week (it's going to be mainly my sister's) so I need a list of games; one for me, one for my sister.
I prefer action, RPGs, puzzle, platformers, adventure, shmups, strategy. My sister is more of a casual gamer, but she likes racing, puzzle (Tetris, puyo etc.), rhythm ...and games based on movies she likes such as Harry Potter and High School Musical. Well, I'm pretty sure I have the last genre covered, fire away. ~~~  |

puzzle : phoenix wright 1 2 3 /apollo justice professor layton and curious village / diabolical box !!!!! hotel dusk (i didn't love it, but it's ok, maybe you'll like it) funfun: grand theft auto!! zelda phantom hourglass!! Ecolis: Save the Planet!! summon nights twin age warioware: touched elebits the adventures of kai and zero!! strategy: fire emblem (the one with marth) valkyrie profile covenant plume ~~~ im a moran who takes the internet too seriusly and got banned becuz my sister was a bitch :(

If you play Polarium expect to get bored really quickly.
Anyway you know my suggestions. I can vouch for FFTA2, Covenant Plume, Meteos and Phantom Hourglass. The World Ends With You is good. It does require a bit of multi-tasking but it has a really good story line and pretty unique gameplay. If you like Pokémon then you'll probably like the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series--it's a Pokémon dungeon crawler but played on a grid. Then there's always Golden Sun DS to look forward to.
There are probably other ones but I can't think of any right now. |
