You WILL need a Thief later. Seriously.

A high-level Thief, too.

I will?
I hate theives! Their stats are low and they aren't really good with any weapon. :/

On a side note, I just captured the Lv. 40 blue Dragon in Blair Forest - Writhing Shadow. Aww yeah.

Base stats aren't a big deal if you level up a good weapon with gladiators stacked on it. Same thing with armor and sentries/dieticians. You can get around a low weapon skill by transmigrating a character who has a lot of mana and has mastered the weapon you want the result to grind with. When you transmigrate at Genius level, about 95% of weapon mastery transfers over, so the character will already be almost done with weapon training.

I suggest for the Thief you make a Samurai, throw a ton of Armsmasters (if you have the patience, 1900 is the cap) on something for them to equip and train their Sword skill. Using Winged Slayer in Cave of Ordeals 3 is a really good way to grind.

Yeah, but I was kicking myself after I missed the Horse Wiener, so I'll need one.

BTW, Enzd, what is an Armsmaster? Never heard the term before.

Armsmasters are a type of specialist that increases how much weapon mastery experience the character gets per hit. I don't know the exact numbers, but having a lot of them helps if you want to grind weapon skill.

There's also a specialist for level experience, it's called a Statistician. The cap on those are 300 though.

They aren't hard to get, it'll just take a while. Especially if you hate going through the Item World a lot.

I do and I don't.

Some are fun, some are tedious.

And some are assholes that force you to use your hard-earned Gency's Exits because they made an impossible level.

There's a reason you save before you go into an Item World.

That is why.

This is probably a dead topic, but Armsmaster, Manager(Armsmaster's mana equivalent), and broker(money equivalent), top out at 1900.Each level is an extra 1% gain.

Statistician, the EXP counterpart, tops out at 300, and only stacks if you're playing Disgaea 3. So no 9200% exp for you!

The beauty of disgaea is that no matter what you do, you can't do it wrong. Anything you do is progress, the only differences are how fast and effective the methods of grindan are.

I beat max Stronger Enemies Bill UPB in about 70 hours how about you guys?

Divine majin with yoshi

Theif to steal armor(doesnt do much once you get into SEB's)

5 mages to braveheart(2x atp is cheap as all hell)

If you want to be a wimp some others to hold the boss. Otherwise, get some cannon fodder units.

EVERYBODY DIES!

I feel bad for taking the cheap route with the divine majin but I wanted to move on to 2 and 3.

Oh fuck you said etna mode.

doh!
