Went downhill on some sort of slope that's so straight it's not even a slope, starting with the pointless ice cream scene.

Unfortunate, since the episode was actually okay before then, from the perspective of someone who has never played the VN. :(

Chaos;Head 5 is out. 6 is also out (like a few hours ago). And episode 5 was pretty decent. Sword scene was neat.
