I have decided to introduce you all to Innerpartysystem, a dance-rock band that puts on the most amazing live shows I have ever seen (yes, I've seen them every time they've been in Minnesota since the beginning of this year).
Their most popular song "Don't Stop" can partially be seen live here:
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...ideoid=41151034
Their myspace, with, of course, music to listen to and two music videos ("Don't Stop" and "Die Tonight Live Forever") is here:

Watch the live video first. Because you will then see how fuckawesome they are live. Then you can listen to their great music. They only have an EP out right now, but they've got a full length coming out at the end of the September (the 29th, I believe).

Oh, yeah, my avatar right now is the guitarist during their Twin Cities show this past Friday.

These guys are playing down in my area on October 25th. I'll check them out when I get the chance.

Also, on the "Don't Stop" live video, the guy lifted the mic stand over the crowd.

You should go see them.
OH AND THEY'RE COMING BACK TO MINNESOTA IN NOVEMBER, I HAVE TO DECIDE IF I CAN AFFORD TO SEE THEM AGAIN SO SOON

Also, in actual news, Innerpartysystem set up a myspace devoted to their remixes of other bands' songs. Some are pretty sweet.

I downloaded their new album (shut up, I still have the vinyl on preorder, I can pirate it then, according to my morals). It's awesome. I especially love finally being able to listen to "Obsession" and "Die Tonight, Live Forever" (having heard and loved them at both of the concerts I've been too), but new songs like "What We Will Never Know" are awesome. I don't know what to think of the new versions of "Heart of Fire" and "Don't Stop", however, not that the latter is much different, but the former is wildly changed.
