I don't think it's old news.
Well there was a trailer by this group a long time ago but there hadn't been any news until like... Recently. At least I only heard of it recently so maybe it was announced a while ago. |

Not sure if ZUN can give a cease and desist. I'm not sure how copyright works in Japan but I know it's different then the US (i.e. SRW could never happen in the US due to all the bloody copyrights involved)

Slice of life is very boring.
