Fia of Riviera is a fencer, correct?

So in Yggdra Union, why does the Fencer class appear to wield weapons that more closely resemble broadswords than rapiers?

The rapier wielders are considered Sword Maiden or Valkyrie class.

Thoughts, anyone?

Fia is a maiden.
The Sword Maidens are maidens.
The Valkyries are most likely maidens.

Both weapons are some kind of sword, but used very differently.

Add to the fact that sometimes I think Sting is nuts, and your answer is somewhere in there.

Maybe they don't want to use Swordsman so they called it Fencer instead.
