I think the nomenclature you were looking for is "Engrish."
New cut scenes, huh? I swear, I always have this weird luck with games. Either I go hunting for them and they're so old that they're hard to find, or else I pick them up too early and they get re-released later with an "Oh, by the way, we added new bells and whistles that weren't in the old version, heehee!" and I'm left going, "Rats, I bought the wrong version! >.<"
~~~
I play Riviera for two reasons:  IIRC, credits go to Feral Phoenix for Fiaa's icon and ChefMKT for the Lyuri scan.
Also, why waste money to buy ANOTHER Riviera when you already have a copy of it??! For just a few, cutscene? Well, it would be different if they add more playable characters, places, making chapter 6/7 (Forget) longer, etc.....
If only there were movies (Even short ones) in the game like YU or FFT:WOL, it would prove to worth the money spent on it.....
This would be off-topic, but it's been nearly 4 months after the initial release of YUPSP, any information regarding whether Atlus will publish the localized version of it? I bet not....
I have three versions of Riviera (WSC, GBA US, PSP US), four versions of Sonic CD (MCD Jap., MCD PAL (to be sold soon), PC PAL, Gems Collection PAL) and three of Sonic R (Saturn Jap., PC PAL, Gems Collection PAL), and between the versions there are just very slight differences. That proves... ...nothing, because I'm weird. :( If the Special Edition had English text, I would sell my US RiviPSP for it though. This post has been edited by P.P.A.: Apr 14 2008, 09:26 PM
Hahaha then, if you're a fanatic to it, there's an exception...... Wow, you shouldn't sell it...make a collection out for it......
The only time I would buy a game again, is if they offered enough new content to justify another purchase and it's sold at a good price.
Like FES.
The only time I would buy a game is when I can't pirate it easily. :3
They did new bath scenes? O_o;; Is that where Sturm got his new icon from, then? Geez... My largest concern is, rather than the random new CGs we're getting in the basic version of Chapter 8, there will be equivalent ones for the hard-to-get version » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « and hence new art of LEDAH AND ROSE that we'll be missing out on. D:
And maybe even a CG for Ledah's ending, which would be awesome. I just wish Sting had gone to the trouble of replotting Chapter 8 beforehand, and giving us, Japan, and Europe the same darn package so there wouldn't be all this whining about "BUT WE NEED THE NEW SHINY ART TOOOOO. D:"
