No, see, that's perfect - it's just Adachi/Shigeki's style.
The problem is it sounds nothing even remotely reminiscent of Riviera, which is terrible for a Riviera fangame.

Interesting point, but I'd still say it lacks a direction and needs to be shorter.

Pretty good.
But shouldn't Einherjar be longer?

That looks great! I agree with Lucho, though. Einherjar should be just a tad longer. I also think the costume suits Ein nicely. It doesn't look like it has a zillion useless parts to it, like it does in Riviera. Plus, the art barely matched his sprite. XD Anyway, nice job.

Einherjar look small to everyone because Ein was holding it behind.Anyway the design are much cooler than the previous ein.Still I was wondering how will the other will look like.By the way Archeia,I just take a look at the music you upload and is very good but somehow I cannot make a sense of it.At first I though it was for the battle theme but then it almost suit for the tittle instead.

Well that's all I have to say.Keep up the good work .

Well, yeah, Einherjar is behind Ein, but considering how long it is the end should still be visible to the left of his... er... *turns head* --right leg. Also the angle of his hand makes it look like Einherjar should be angled toward the viewer a little bit.

... Wait, Ein's left-handed? >>

Edit: Er, wait, maybe it's just attached to his belt or something there. That would make it easier for him to draw it in battle, anyway. Unless I'm just stupid and he really is left-handed. Like Link.

Hello sorry for not updating so long, aya is busy with school so there's nothing artwise, I've been trying to contact my landscape artist but he has work and artist block and I'm working on the sprites right now while the person helping me is working on her own game...

As you can see we are very unstable right now :(

Don't worry about that Archeia...each one of us have our own problems which needed to be tackled through. Take your time, enjoy making the game rather than feeling tugged to it.

Don't stress about it Archeia, it'll shorten your life span. DX Nobody wants that.

You've done a great job with everything so far, and I think we're all willing to wait patiently for whatever you guys come up with next. Good luck with everything!

I've been thinking though, I want to make this game sort of ala Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth where everything is sideview, I think it will lessen the workload at least sprite wise and easier to make tileset with since I don't have to worry about 8 direction charset.

But what do you guys think? Would you like this or should I stick to the original Riviera?

Riviera had only two directions and then they were flipped, though.
