DX Oh my God. I turn green with envy at the artwork.

You, Aya, and everybody else working on this is amazing. I've never played dating sims but this looks pretty cool. This definitely demands that I follow your progress, if not to play then just to admire your dedication. :D I wish you guys the best of luck!

... Argh, now I want to go draw. Stop being so inspirational, dammit. XD

Okay, I don't even have my glasses on and that bothers me. That sword's blade looks unusual. It doesn't look like the blade would protrude from the handle in that direction in the way the handle is being held.

^^ That sprite looks good! I really like the style, I think it suits these well. The sword does look a bit funny, like Yuka said. I think maybe you should tilt it up a few degrees... maybe by about 45 or so?

Also, I'm not quite sure if this would look better or not, but maybe what you should do is move her sword arm back ever so slightly, so her body obstructs it more. It sort of looks unnatural for her to be holding the sword out that far forward, unless she's about to attack something, y'know?

The color must be misleading, I'll try to fix that up.

Also thanks about the arm, you noticed it ;P
Well I'll see how it goes once animated.

Also guys, to see it more clearly try viewing it in paint and zoom it in, it'll be easier that way. I think the board's color scheme overcomes some of the colors of the blade as well

I think that song's main problem is that it's wayyy too intricate. The composer should have focused on picking a main driving melody instead of dragging out for so long with a bunch of vaguely similar movements.

No, see, that's perfect - it's just Adachi/Shigeki's style.
The problem is it sounds nothing even remotely reminiscent of Riviera, which is terrible for a Riviera fangame.

That sounds good. Having non-Riviera music adds to the originality of the fangame.

But it deters it away from being a Riviera fangame.

I like the track, Archeia. ^^ It does sound different from Riviera, but it was nicely done. It is a little long though. And the mood isn't really continuous--there are some parts that make me think either "cutscene" or "battle theme." Where would you be using this, exactly?

Riviera remixes sound like a good idea. But if you could make some original tracks that are still somewhat reminiscent of Riviera, I don't think that would hurt either.

... Erm, assuming this is all within the realm of possibility, anyway.

But do you really want the same music, only slightly different, drone on and on and on and into infinity?
It would be nice to hear different stuff for once.

See? Hayate gets it. As long as its very similar, original tracks will be an excellent idea.

I like it all.
The music may not be Riviera-ish, but it's still good.

Remixes would be good, but while doing the regular battle music, don't do like the Full Arranged Soundtrack did. The main part was weak, until that other part came in and then it got better.

Sorry about the lack of musical terms. But I'm sure someone understands, right?
