@Feral Phoenix:
Actually I was hoping you might be open to offering the Gulcasa and Nessiah analyses you posted to your journal to the wiki.

But I will PM you about Nessiah and Gulcasa, because yeah, I am interested in them.

aldkglawei'apkdng'lakajkldho;38 oi h;ladkngasd *senseless keyboard pounding*

OMG I'd be happy to. XDDD

Although--I'd actually prefer you not put the Gulcasa one up, it kind of sucked (a lot) and I can do sooo much better now. XD

Actually--I'll PM you. I feel in the mood for a good ramble right now.

The mini wiki is now a full wiki with its own subdomain.

http://yggdraunion.wikia.com/

The wikia is being specifically organized as a speculation and character analysis archive, and there are lots of resources concerning the plot besides. We have a timeline, a general FAQ, a fact sheet for the characters and for the factions (complete with graphics -- thanks lacrimacastle), and a work-in-progress rundown of the game events. We need a lot of help to make this wiki the best it can be. All are encouraged to stop on by and see what we're doing at Yggdra Union Wiki.

I want to thank those who helped make the wiki what it is today. Your contributions are appreciated.

What we still need
[*] MediaWiki is a beast. Some kind of organizational schema is badly needed.
[*] Logo art is needed. Expertise is preferred.

And if I don't mind asking, could you link to the wiki from lacrimacastle? That would be a big boost to visibility.

So far we've got three character analysis articles at the wiki with more on the way. :)

I am turning over the reins to Feral Phoenix as administrator of the Wiki. Although I will continue to have founder status, Feral will be the person in charge. ;) Feral has a lot of passion for YU/Riviera -- perhaps more than anyone else -- which makes her the ideal candidate for the position as leader of YU Wiki at Wikia. I can also take comfort in knowing that she will be fair, just, and even-handed in her role as administrator of the wiki.

Or at least that I'll try. XD I'm kind of biased where Sturm is concerned, but then that's because he's a jerk who bashes people without ever sharing any theories himself. :/

Feral is also ridiculously biased when it comes to finding who is at fault for the events of Yggdra Union: She likes to make it so it seems that Nessiah and Gulcasa are not at fault. Which we all know is not true.

Hope you enjoy your horribly skewed project now.

You're misrepresenting her position. She is merely attempting sympathy for these tragic characters. She casts blame on the larger circumstances which torment their psyches, you might say.

No. You're wrong.

It's the same reason Ledah's at fault in Riviera. These characters still have free will.

I have to agree with Sauce on this one (although Ledah was more of a robot then anything.) Nessiah and Gulcasa had reasons for what they did sure, but everyone does. The Cartoon villains who are all like "I am EVIIIIL, launch the EEEVIL ray!" are simple stereotypes used to demonize ones opponents. In the real world, evil people always have reasons for what they did. Hitler explains quite eloquently and logically in "Mein Kampf" why starting wars and blaming a group of people for all ills would strengthen Germany, and gives further reasons for why he chose the battles he did and the Jews as the source of Germany's problems. This doesn't mean that he was not an evil person however, he simply had reasons from which to commit evil.

A loss of emotion does not equal a loss of free will.

Did it explain why he attacked Russia in the middle of winter? Because I've always wondered that.

It actually gave a detailed explanation on why not to do that. Why he ended up doing that is not certain. But his doctors claim that he had syphilis and was starting to go crazy.
