About BF 44.... Options

In BF44, has anyone killed Luciana/Aegina without Gulcasa & his Dragon Knights appearing on the left side of the map? This annoyed me because I had all my units on the left side of the map waiting for Gulcasa. Instead, I Cruz & Russell killed off Luciana without his army appearing at all. When she died, all of a sudden Gulcasa appears in the square where he transforms into Brongaa, leaving the left side of the field unrevealed while I had to kill him. If this is confusing you, I'll use ShadowChaser's maps on GameFAQS for an example:

Yeah... Just wondering if anyone has encountered this before.

NOTE: Also, before this happened I did that Sound Test glitch--The one concerning the graphics glitch with "Royal March-Brongaa Knight(?)" (Forgot the name). I did this because I knew the song was used in this battlefield, and I thought I'd try the glitch out and play the BF to see if it effects the battlefield. I also had it suspended before I attacked Luciana so.... You think the Sound Test glitch has anything to do with this?

Doubt the glitch has anything to do with it. It's just that if you killed Aegina/Luciana before the one or two turns it takes for Gulcasa to send his guys back out, then their extension never opens. I'm thoroughly impressed with your ability to kill her quickly. It's not any kind of glitch, it just says that you're really good at BF44. And it's annoying because you never got to get Mesala's Tablet.

It's not time based when Gulcasa's dragons appear. They appear once you've killed three of the Valkyries. He also never transforms into Brongaa. When Aegina or Luciana is killed is when he's possessed by Brongaa's blood. So, if you kill Aegina or Luciana before or while meeting the requirements for the extension, then you get Brongaa Knight Gulcasa right away.



Spoiler tags are also far from necessary in this thread since it's a clearly marked question about BF44; unless you discuss something beyond that, common sense should prevail.

OK thanks, I've always thought the requirements were time based. That sure cleared things up.

I'll also keep in mind the spoiler stuff too, I guess I was a bit TOO cautious there. ^^;
