What are they exactly? In Riviera they always say that they're very powerful, and only a chosen few may become one. Plus the people selected must sacrifice something dear to them, all for a two-demensional weapon that has a very odd design, you can't tell what's what. (As in what's a sword, spear, etc.)

They are divine weapons used by Grim Angels. Didn't they explain that in Riviera?

And yes, you can tell what it is.

I understand what they are, it's just I can't believe that such a thing could be so powerful, what is it made of? It highly resembles cardboard to me... or wood.

Lorelie and Skadi look alike, yet,

They're made of orichalcon, if my memory of Chapter 1 serves well. It's been AGES since I've played Riviera, though.

I always thought they were shaped like that because we couldn't comprehend their divinity.

I was thinking that maybe the artist couldn't think of a more divine look for the diviner.

I don't think orichalcon is what makes them special because you can obtain some when you first go to Riviera and use it to upgrade serene's scythes giving them a different name and making them stronger.

I think the diviners are so powerful just because they're holy weapons.

First bold set: Yes, but it doesn't stay in your inventory: You lose it at the end of Chapter 1.

Second bold set: That's Ogrenium or something like that. It's definitely not Orichalcon.

In CardBoardBox's post. (About Ogrenium.) I haven't gotten that far in the game.

CardBoardBox is in chapter 3

CHAPTER 3

And when you MAKE A TOPIC THAT SAYS THERE MIGHT BE SPOILERS, you invite members to use evidence THROUGHOUT the game to talk about the topic.

Which is exactly what CardBoardBox did.
