Has anyone here read War and Peace? Not necessarily all of it (I've only finished the first half, the fox hunting scene bored the fucking hell out of me), but a kind of interesting thought came to me about the writing, and I'm wondering if anyone could confirm my thoughts.

Just finished reading a collection of short stories by Steven King. GOD, that man can write about a haunted lamp and still sell a million cpoies>_>

The book was called: The eye of the Dragon

I'm waiting for the last installment of the Eragon series to come out as well.

Stolen from Family Guy.

And The Eyes of the Dragon is not a collection of short stories, nor is it horror so your stolen quote is unwarranted.

First of all, I never took credit for making up that quote. Yes, your right. Family Guy did say that....maybe thats why I said it.

Crap. Your right>_> I was thinking of a different book. I had also recently read The eyes of the Dragon.
It was called " Night Shift", or something like that.

Started Justine (Lawrence Durrell). I'm... I'm not very far into it XD;. It's very well written, and I'm enjoying it so far.

I just finished Against the Tide by John Ringo. Never heard of the guy before, but the book wasn't half bad--though there were a few plot holes, I sort of got how the universe there worked along the way, which is more or less how sci-fi work usually goes. It's a quick read, five hundred forty-seven pages--I killed about two hours with it. Apparently it's part of a series, but it seems I've started from the middle.

I'm currently reading A Clash of Kings (George R.R. Martin) and a random legend book for a school asignment.
A Song of ice and Fire is the BEST SERIES EVER! Read it if you ever have the chance...
I also have tons of books in my shelf that I hope to finish... one day *glares at The Hobbit*

I skimmed through the Hobbit and read some parts of Return of the King, I like watching the movies better :/

Rereading the 1400 page monstrosity Les Miserables, but skipping the history and unnecessary fillers, which makes it less of a monstrosity.

Les Miserables... *dies, revives, dies again* DOn't want to see that even again.

And, skipping can't be considered reading. Stupid Hobbit...

Rereading Wyrm (random sci-fiction, fantasy and who knows what else novel by Mark Fabi) and The Thief Lord (another random fantasy novel by Cornelia Funke)... I really want to watch that movie...

Is a biology book considered in this? Because if it is...

If it is I want to add my AP Psychology textbook, which by the way tries a little too hard to be "reader friendly." I literally have to dig through it with a pickaxe to get anything useful out of it.

Even though it gives me nightmares I also reread "The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray." It's not a bad book, just that apparently my imagination is a little more overactive than I thought it was.

Strange, I took Psychology last year, and the book wasn't that bad, what's the name of it? The class and test itself was a breeze compared to the other APs.

I should be reading Alas, Babylon by Pat Frank, but I've yet to start it. I'm going to have to start it sometime soon, though. Stupid summer reading lists >_>

Mais oui. I'm supposed to be reading "How to Read Literature Like a Professor" and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", but...

I'd rather reread "Scar Night" (Alan Campbell, READ IT BITCHES), so I am. *nod*

And I still say Carnival = Malice + Nessiah + steroids.
