This thread is for discussion of books. Books you're reading, books you've read, books you're interested in, etc.
--Tom Clancy is lame--

But anyways. I'm currently reading Demons by Fyodor Dostoevsky. It's interesting, but I'm having difficulty getting into it, partially because of school, and partially because the month before I started it, I had just finished the Dark Tower series.

Let's see...

I had to read Brave New World earlier this school year, and I thought it was an excellent book. I also believe that the topic of it would interest Sturm greatly. Sex and drugs. <_<

Right now I have to read "The Knight's Tale" in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, which I will have to write a paper on and make a speech on it in December.

At least I can take this year's Lit stuff. I like British Literature.

I only read when school requires.
So next year I must read To kill a mockingbird for literature

Books, eh? Currently I'm having to read To Kill a Mockingbird, like Desu, for school reasons. It pisses me off; I've already read this book once.

Aside from that, I'm reading Lirael.

A majority of the things I read are for school.

At the present, I'm reading Hamlet and The Aeneid (in Latin) for school, and the Snorra Edda in my free time...

I also spend some time on the internet reading in Latin (my last undertaking was Saxo Grammaticus' Gesta Danorum), but that's not in published form, so that doesn't count. Meh.

Then the only actually book I've read and had an intrest to were the Halo novels. Really good books to read to if you want to know Before/In-between/ and After the latest game.

Well, at this EXACT moment in time, I'm reading Plato's Apology. Also, I'm reading Antigone...and I just finished Gilgamesh. Oh yeah, and I'm also reading The Adventures of Ibn Battuta. Fun stuff, really.

I´ve just read "The Moon is Down" by John Steinbeck. A wonderful piece of literature.

*blinks* Rune Ocarina... may you be the same guy in Court Records?

Currently reading Furies of Calderon by Jim Butcher, though I have half the mind to halt and read Eragon instead. I wanna finish it before the movie comes out. ><'
