 WALRUS'S HAIR SCARES ME

I asked my father to take a few photos of me today comparing my current spectacles (the round, black ones) with my old ones (the transparent, rectangular glasses).

My personal verdict: neither one looks inherently better or worse than the other, but they seem somewhat situational. My current glasses fit better my rather fancy style of clothing, while my older ones are preferable when/if I am aiming for a more casual, contemporary look. They also tend to emphasise the shape of my face a little more.

As a side effect, the whole procedure also resulted in a handful of decent photos, which is good since I was lacking recent ones. One of them moved directly to my LCN profile. :V

Stop looking so good.

Something I am curious about, though: of what stock were your ancestors? Your skin is too white for them to have been Spaniards, as most immigrants to Argentina were. The shape of your nose reminds me of those of Italians or Ashkenazi Jews (though both of these groups are genetically close anyway). Considering how Argentina has a large and culturally influential Italian minority, and as you near the Alps, people's skins lighten… Could they have been from Northern Italy?

I don't know exactly from what part of Italy, but yes. From my father's side, that is. My grandparents from my mother's side came from Spain. I think the town they came from was called Baio or something.

My amateur anthropology is bearing fruits!

I adopted a fresher and more youthful look for the summer:

I know that feel. I can't shave everyday because my facial hair doesn't grow fast enough. It's a bloodbath if I do.

I never posted these two, from my (not no longer) recent vacation to southern France:
