Wanna show off your desktop to others? Well, here's your chance!

Here, since I notice that the board doesn't support Attachments to your posts, you'd have to upload your desktops on an image hosting site, like photobucket.

It's not mandatory, but try not to hotlink your pictures, as most desktops are usually 1024 x 768. It'll be a pain when you look in this thread and the HUGE pics slow your internet (and computer). Instead, just post the LINK of the picture.

If you don't know how to take a screenshot of your desktop on Windows, then read on. If you do, skip the next passage.

Press Ctrl + Print Screen. This will tell the computer to take a screenshot of WHATEVER is on the desktop.
Go to your image editor and make a blank image of your desktop's size (again, most monitors are 1024 x 768).
Press Ctrl + V anywhere on the blank image to paste in the desktop.

What to do next? Upload it, of course!

Then post it.

Well, here's my desktop. <-- Click

Mac Users: Apple+Shift+3
It will automatically save as a png on your desktop (unless you changed where it saves/what as).

We want a screenshot of your desktop, not your wallpaper/background.

What is the print screen thing? I don't have a printer hooked up, so will that effect anything?

Print Screen's actually a button on your keyboard, Blue. It's usually situated above the "Insert" button, and beside the "Scroll Lock" button. It's usually crammed with another word called "Sys Rq".

The name Montague is from Montague Kain from Batman the animated series. The name Hawke came from Advance Wars 2. The name Chris is, obviously, my name.
