Gungnir's placement in the timeline Options

Gungnir seems to be the game that everyone has the most difficulty placing in the timeline, but currently I'm under the impression that it might take place roughly 500 years before Yggdra Union as the opening theme is titled "Gargandia 983" while the opening theme for Yggdra Union (PSP) is titled "Paltina 1490." However, I'm not sure if they even take place in the same world or not so the dates might be a moot point. Not helped by the matter that there appears to be alternate timelines going on as shown with the Yggdra from Gloria Union who is an unrelated character baring the same name and appearance and the Yggdra in KitN who appears to come from a timeline where Brongaa was successfully awakened as she mentions that she was fighting an evil dragon prior to ending up in the world of KitN. Granted, you could probably write off Yggdra's appearance in KitN as being non-canonical. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if Gloria Union is even meant to be part of the same continuity or not seeing as it appears to have nothing to do with the other games barring the inclusion of the aforementioned alternate Yggdra.
