I DON'T KNOW WHAT PPA'S THREAD IS BUT SHOW OFF COOL BANDS FROM GERMANY HERE I'LL START YOU OFF WITH EVERY GERMAN BAND I CURRENTLY LISTEN TO which doesn't actually vary a huge amount as far as genre goes and it's such a small amount of bands so everyone else please post good bands you know of. ANY GENRE.
They don't necessarily sing, or always sing in German. But they are German. And don't be foolish enough to actually watch the videos to any of these, please. Corvus Corax (or, here's stuff from their Cantus Buranus albums which I usually listen to) Empyrium (or, for people who aren't really into metal, go beyond their 1997 album) In Extremo Lacrimosa Oomph!
