It seemed more mainstream/normal/whatever than other stuff I've read from him though, stylistically and all that. A moon colony. Maybe just a bridge. I don't know. But the walking around, sitting, eating at tables... It doesn't work. We need something else. —What do you want to build? The world's already built. —So I just walk around in an already-built world? That's a joke. —That's the joke you live in. I sort of want to just post the whole chapter that's from since I love the whole thing and there are better things to quote from it but then people would have already read a whole chapter when they actually read the book and they'll be like "oh." ~~~  |
