Let's subtract 25 from 31. Huh... the answer is 6. WONDER HOW THAT HAPPENED. BECAUSE YOU KNOW, A SIX POINT DIFFERENCE IS TOTALLY COMPLETELY UNFAIR AND NOT REASONABLE IN-GAME. TOTALLY. EVEN WITH ALL WE KNOW ABOUT INHERITANCE.

6 HP isn't even going to save you reliably. The damage variance is too high for that.
