Name me some fighting games that follow the criteria below:
1) Don't suck 2) Don't require iads/iabds to get to a level above mediocre 3) Aren't Capcom 4) Have decent to good netplay 5) Doesn't have a name that begins with Super and ends in Bros/Melee/Brawl 6) Doesn't have wonky physics exploits.

Virtua Fighter
King of Fighters 98/02
Also, LOL, DoA
Throwing out IADs and IABDs cuts your options in 2d to SNK or Capcom, and 3d fighters are plain eh.

3d fighters lack technicality for the most part and tend to sloooow things down an awful lot. There's typically less actual variety in how to go about your tactics, and much less of a focus on spacing and zoning, with rushdown and constant pressure being practically all there is to it for the most part.
