In the PSP version of Riviera, there is an early cg of an angel hovering over the graveyard, in a similar fashion that Ledah did in a similar CG. The angel never appears in Riviera, and it has brown hair and a blue Diviner. In one of the promotional Yggdra Union trailers, there is an enemy called "the angelic" that looks identical to the one in the Riviera CG...does anyone else notice this? At all? Or am I getting obsessed with minor similarities?

It's Malice. Diviners have 1337 changing powers.

Well, that's better than what Sturm thought.

He thought the angel was Ein in an earlier life, given that they have very similar clothes.

"The Angelic"...

It could be Malice, but it likely isn't. It's probably just an angel with striking similarities, like Archangel and Marietta.

It's another way to keep giving hints that Yggdra Union is the prequal to Riviera really. Without really saying anything. After all, 'The Angelic No.367' looks like a Grim Angel, and it is in a level that looks like the stones at Heaven's Gate.

The world in Riviera and Yggdra are same. It could be that Nessiah is the surviving Hector and the Angelic Number 367 is just.....Malice? According to her diviner and hair colour of course......

Yggdra Union takes place....around 2000-3000 years after Riviera......

Probably also that the Holy Sword is the Einherjar itself....

That's all thanks.

Um, what are you people talking about?

Riviera and Yggdra Union take place in the same universe. This has already been established. Ancardia was rejected from the floating islands that consist of Asgard [shinkai/Heaven], Riviera [formerly Utgard], and Heaven's Gate--where Riviera takes place. Yggdra Union takes place in the human world. One is not a "prequel" to the other (meaning direct story connection) by any means, because they are in entirely different eras--in Yggdra Union

plus the gods are alive and well.

Nessiah is not Hector. Their characterizations are entirely different. Also, Nessiah is blond. Hector has blue hair. And as Yggdra Union ends,

#367 might be someone from Malice's family; her Diviner

Also, you might take notice that she does not have black wings. She may not be a "real" Grim Angel either. As the gods are still alive and well and the artificial Grim Angel creation process (the angel him- or herself sacrificing some element of themselves in exchange for a Diviner and godly powers) has not yet been conceived/perfected, she might be an experimental stage.

And, um? The Grim Angel at the start of Riviera is a brunet and is dressed like Ein, whereas #367 is a redhead and her clothes resemble Malice's.

The new stage takes place in Heaven's Gate = DUH. It says so right on the screen.

We will have to wait until January 24 to find out what her story circumstances are. Speculation is all we can go on as to that until then. But if you are going to speculate, please take into account what we already do know.

penguin the Holy Sword is the Gran Centurio. It looks nothing like the Einherjar. For one big reason: The Gran Centurio is a big huge two-handed sword. The Einherjar is a one-handed thunderbolt-style sword.

No.367 may be as Feral says... A experimental angel. This is again going largely into assumptions, but those 'extra' levels may be only if

Although who the guy in the white hat and coat is though is really a mystery. I think someone said his name was like 'Heaven Soldier' or something.

Why can't it just be a normal Grim Angel? I mean, what's leading you to think it could be an experimental angel?

Malice was number 1132, by the way.

They had numbers or are you just listing a random number?

It says in one of the dramas that her number is 1132. I don't think there's anything that says what number Ein and Ledah were, though.

Ah the dramas... See, I wouldn't know about those.
But if her number is 1132... Does that mean she's the 1132nd Grim Angel (I find this unlikely unless there was a freaking high number of Gods...) or just the 1132nd to try to become one?

Or it is something else entirely..
