I missed the branch in the castle so i can't get the torch. is there a code to give me a torch?

AHH GAMESHARK! KEEP IT AWAY! KEEP IT AWAY!

I have bad nightmares about Gameshark, I lost my hard earned and fully completed Pokemon Gold data using game shark. After I completed it I borrowed it from a friend and was having some unnatural with the glitches and after I gave it gace to him, I realized my data was lost! Still to this day I've never played it again... *sniff...*
