While playing through the second-to-last BF of chapter 8, I stole Gulcasa's Ifrit Fling x2 and noticed that once he changed classes from Dragoon to Brongaa Knight, his item changed to Salamandora x1. I defeated him without getting the drop, but then in the next battlefield, he STILL HAD SALAMANDORA x1 EQUIPPED. Even though it should've broken by then. Like WTF, that's really cheap. Does he automatically item-refresh even if you steal Salamandora in that BF, or is it a glitch, or does it have something to do with your retry number/REP/whatever?

Enemy items are forever.
But, yes, you have to steal from him twice on BF44 to get ALL of his items. Otherwise he'll just have the Salamandora in BF45; even if the person you killed him with has more than enough LUK to make the drop. |
