So, has anyone here ever heard of the anime Kino no Tabi (translated as Kino's Journey)? It's not very well known, but it's a wonderful anime that I suggest everyone reading this topic should watch.

(Am I allowed to post links to youtube? I can post links for anyone, if I'm allowed).

It's a series a little on the short side, only 13 episodes (of course, comparing it to Kenshin, like I'm doing, will make many series seem short).

I won't tell you guys much about the story because I want you to have a clean, untainted experience of it. But I'll let you know that it's a philosophical anime about a traveler named Kino.

Well, I recommend seeing the first episode, holding judgment on it, then seeing the second episode before you judge it. If anyone wants, i can post links to the episodes (for convenience).

Again, if you have any spare time or just want to try a new anime or a different one, I strongly suggest Kino no Tabi.

Oops, sorry, of course I'll add a little detail.

Well, there is a traveler named Kino, and...well....the anime is following the adventures of the traveler and the places traveled.

I can't really fine-tune it anymore without discussing particular episodes.

Uhh I could try xD? Basically Kino is this traveler-person, who goes from country to country with her talking motorcycle, Hermes, and she never stays in one country for longer than three days. She experiences all the weird traditions and stuff of each country. And basically it's just following her travels and stuff.

Um, that was a very bad summary that makes the series sound worse than it actually is xD; oh well. I'm sorry Buddhu, I TRIED ;n;

It's fine.

I understand that Kino is a tough series to give a summary of (but I was trying to avoid saying Kino's a girl, because it''s interesting to see some people's reactions after episode four).
