I've watched up to episode 70-something. I haven't watched anymore as the current story arc (Bounto, Bound, whatever) feels too much like filler to me.

Sasuke is an emo. Plain and simple. We do enough and he can cut himself to death.

On a related note, who thinks the new opening is awesome? I loved the song to it and liked that the video had non-filler content in it. Pretty good overall. If you don't want to have some of the newer developments spoiled, then don't watch though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APE9Y9LlwYs

I would've made another topic, but I'm pretty reluctant after seeing the five topics made by me, all stacked together.


Anyways, is this another anime that's so good, that after seeing the first episode, you practically become compelled to watch the rest of the series? If so, I'm better off not watching it.

I use http://www.stoptazmo.com/ to get my Bleach manga(and information) + youtube.com for the anime...
yeah, I'm poor and can't afford hundreds of anime dvds...

But I'm glad Adultswim kept the orriginal intro + exit theme...

unlike that god-awful naruto subbing...

as for other anime...

I'd suggest if you haven't already seen it:
Cowboy Bebop...

and since I don't exactly know your anime preferances I can't really give you a full list of anime that I plan to watch and then you decide you don't want to watch any of it.

Sort of. The first episode is really good. Then it slows down until about episode 17. Then it becomes compelling in a shouned type of way (I.E. Dragonballz). Although, IMO Bleach is far better executed. Since it's not finished, I can't tell whether it will fall victim to the rising power level cliche that DBZ suffer from.

Yeah, so I finally decided to watch the first few episodes of Bleach, and as usual, I felt compelled to watch the rest of the series. It's a shame that this time the series is up to around 100 episodes.
