DHE World Guidance Translations, for people who Japan not good Options

Since PPA's been PPA, we now have access to the World Guidance book and will be working on translating passages of interest. They'll be posted here(in later posts, since keeping them together won't fit).

THE BOOK LIKES TO USE A BUNCH OF WORDS THAT MEAN THE SAME THINGS AS OTHER WORDS AND I'M MORE SURE NOW ABOUT WHAT WORDS I SHOULD BE USING BUT I'M LEAVING THIS SECTION HERE JUST IN CASE ANYONE HAS ANY COMMENTS:

神々-'the gods.' We all know who they are, but for whatever reason, everyone in the games talks about them like they're still alive, even though they died back in Ragnarok(every game takes place after it). If "the gods" shows up in something talking about stuff after Ragnarok, it probably just means the Magi. If it shows up when talking about the people that made the surface worlds and stuff, it's the gods. They're apparently computers.

守護天使-'guardian angel.' The Heaven's Gate entry thinks this is "Archangel," but Kitten used the term once(supposedly).

地上-'above ground,' the plane of existence that the surface worlds(地上世界) exist in, so it's the surface. You could think of it as a big ring/shell that wraps around the underworld(which is infinite...maybe it actually wraps around the heavens :U), with Asgard on the other side.

冥府-directly translates as 'hades' or 'realm of the dead.' By now it's obvious that the games use "the underworld" as its meaning, but it apparently doesn't describe the entire place.

魔界-'demonworld', this is the whole place, but it's rarely spoken about. I'm pretty sure Zolgonark/Hades just owns most of it, so a lot of it falls under his name. I'M GOING TO CALL IT UTGARD BECAUSE IT'S THE OPPOSITE OF SHINKAI/ASGARD

魔神-'demon gods'. The book calls Zorgy one, but I don't think they have a proper title yet in the localized games. I don't think any others have appeared in the series yet.

魔物-'demonthings', seems to fit with what everyone calls "demons." It even mentions Slimes and Skeletons. THOSE ARE TOTALLY DEMONS. This looks like the term they use when referring to tangible ones.

魔族-'demontribes,' shows up when they talk about demons as a species/race/whatever.

Japan loves adding title and whatnot to their names, but English takes up way more space, so the localizations usually drop them unless they're being silly and using extra words. Some of the localized titles are slightly different from what Japan used, but I think I left everything as their English equivalents.

For whatever reason Japan can't stick to just quotations or brackets or parentheses, so I'll be copying whatever they do for the appropriate words/phrases in the translations. Omittableyetstillkindofimportantwords will go in [] brackets inside the sentences, and stuff in parentheses past the period are just my notes on how silly sounding or confusing the passage/sentence was.

Regarding the first Ancardia entry: Perhaps it means that the people of Yggdra's post-good ending realm (or her realm itself) were called thus?

堕天により一度は力を奪われたものの、魔神との契約により復讐の力と憎悪の念を与えられた。

One of the Accursed.
The fallen form of the former guardian angel Marietta.
Although her strength was taken once fallen, she contracted with a demon and gained the power to exact vengeance and feelings of hatred.

Fallen Angel Aries （堕天使アリエス）

転生を繰り返して生き延びてきた。

The former Grim Angel Aries‘ fallen form, cast out after committing a great sin.
He extended his life through reincarnation.
His original body is sealed within the Lost Paradise Ancardia.

i prefer "floating garden". the kanji are sky/void center garden, and the hanging isn't implied.

not reading the japanese, this sounds plausibly as
marietta gave yggdra the scepter ancardia, and the people named the place ancardia after that.

Hi Rhia needs a Tsuki or more direct object markers to deal with this horrible third sentence (it's even bolded for speedy finding!). I get totally lost the moment I meet a verb after the first comma because I don't know who's doing what to who or where. I also don't know if that's supposed to be だけ　に限らず or だけに　限らず. Which probably isn't helping with the whole confusion thing.

Either I'm horrible at this or I just keep choosing the wrong things to translate. Bolded sentence is ridiculously confusing to me and underlined part is just... I don't have a clue what that's supposed to be and dictionaries aren't helping.

... I have no fucking idea what is going on with the third sentence on the Accursed entry. The 魔神 sprinkled willy-nilly is just really screwing with my ability to parse that particular trainwreck. Sorry. :/ It looks like something along the lines of demons establishing pecking order based on strength, and the Accursed are the highest/high-ranking?? of them? Also something about demons picking subordinates dumber than they are. I think. Here's my attempted dissection:

I have somebody coming in tomorrow who might be able to help me out with this, even if she doesn't speak a lick of English; she might be able to phrase it in a less confusing way. If all else fails my dad's flying in on Thursday.

Also sorry about inserting the semi-colon in the page 113 bit. Japan seems to be indiscriminately pro-comma splice but I cannot abide seeing it in English, despite how I probably do it more often than I realize.

The Five Dragon Generals (五頭竜将)

These five generals represent the Bronquian Empire Army.
They are: the Prophet Nessiah; Baldus, the God of War; the Black Knight Leon; the Astral Fencer Russell; the Scarlet Princess Emilia.(the names are mostly the same, though Russell was more like "Demon Swordsman", and Emilia was "Scarlet Snow Princess"...)

The Accursed (インフェルノス)

そのスペックから稼働時間は長くもたないため、平常時は天使の霊園にて眠りについている。
危急に際して、神々によって覚醒させられる。
寿命は不明。
不安定な存在のため、そのまま眠りから醒めないものも多い。

Species/variety of angel that exists only in heaven.
Irregular beings produced during Ragnarok.
The gods' bodies were cut up, their blood poured on, and their wisdom imparted to make them. They have jet black wings and pale white skin.
Their Diviners were infused with the power of the gods, and they have remarkable combat abilities.
[Diviners are weapons infused with the power of the gods], and each Grim Angel must sacrifice something in order to wield them.
Because of that, they can't be active for very long, so they spend most of their time in stasis in the angel cemetery.
They are awoken by the gods in times of emergency.
Their lifespan is unknown.
Because they are unstable beings, most never wake from their stasis.

Old Castle Aventheim (古城アーヴェンヘイム)

元々は古代ティアムート族が建造したものと伝えられている。

Built on the north coast of St. Celestina Island[which sits in Lake Noir], this giant castle is the stronghold of the Gleivnir Knights Kingdom.
It was bequeathed by its original builders, the Tiamats.
For generations the king has controlled the country from within the castle [plus something about history of defence and expansion of territory with the power of its knights].

The town is constantly occupied under orders from (general) Gunther, who has appointed Rolf as commander [of these forces].

12 Sprites (十二精霊)

Guardian Stone Aquarium　（守護石アクアリウム）

They were destroyed by Ledah and Malice.

Heaven　（神界）

Ein's name was affixed to the beginning its name.

Divine Arc Mjollnir　（神圏マセラマティ）

錬金術によって偶然練成された、ディヴァインのレプリカ。
本物のディヴァインには及ばないものの、大いなる力を秘めている。
練成に失敗すると「珍圏マセラマティ」となる。

Replica of a Diviner, accidentally transmuted by an alchemist.(how do you accidentally replicate a weapon made by the gods)
The real Diviner isn't obtainable, but it does hold great power.
If the transmutation fails it becomes the 「Strange Arc Mjollnil」.
(圏 is really 'circle'/similar words, but Milanor's weapons aren't really full circles. And is there a better word for 練成 than 'transmutation'?)

Divine Spear Lorelei　（神槍ローレライ）

精霊の森エレンディアの地中深くに埋められていた。

Fannelia, an Ancient Weapon that shoots lasers everywhere.('lazerlike things emitted in infinite directions')
It had been buried deep underground in Elendia.
The location was recorded in the Divine Scriptures.
(神代 is 'Age of the Gods', I don't know if there's an in-game localized phrase they use for when the gods were around so 'Ancient' is there; I think they called the thing the "Divine Scriptures")

The Retribution（神罰）

全てを無に帰するほどの力があるようだが、実際に何が起こるのかは不明。
そのため、内外に抑止力として機能する結果となっている。

Just before their demise, the gods sealed their wisdom in crystals deep within Riviera.
Seems has the power to destroy everything, but the actual effects are unknown.
For that reason, it is well guarded.(something like 'inside and outside are defended as some effect of that')

Divine Axe Skadi　（神斧トゥール）

Ragnarok　（神魔戦争）

戦況は壮絶を極め、たくさんの告死天使たちが命を落としたいう。
神界戦争はユグドラが神界へ侵攻した場合の、ｉｆの物語である。

Blessed by the will of the gods(not sure what 秘 means), these are the Grim Angels' exclusive weapons.
To wield these Diviners, of them require a sacrifice.
Customarily, the names are taken from the name of their original owner.
In the case of the artificially made Skadi, it seems there were different circumstances.(not sure what the point of that was)

The Angels (天使族)

神界にのみ存在する天使族の一種。
神々の祝福により資質を与えられた者たちで、天使族は神々にのみ絶対的忠誠を誓うことを義務とされる。
翼を持つ存在で、神界兵と連携してヘヴンズゲートの哨戒にあたっている。
寿命は存在しないが、神界とともにある存在ゆえに、神界消滅＝死となる。
神々は天使を抹消することはできない。
そのため、天使の創造は最重要事項に近いものとなっている。
それゆえ天使に対しての罰としては、力を奪い、神界から追放する「堕天」という断罪が執られる。
ただし、特別な力を有する告死天使や、冥府の力によって倒されることはある。

The Angels exist only in Asgard.
These beings were created by the will of the Gods, so it is their duty to swear absolute loyalty to them.
They possess wings, and coordinate the patrol of Heaven's Gate with the Servants(of Goth?).
They don't have a lifespan, but are linked with Heaven, and would perish should it fall.
The Gods are unable to erase angels.
For that reason, the matter of creating angels comes under close consideration.
Convicted angels receive punishment by being stripped of their powers and exiled from Heaven, called a "fall".(Japan thinks it can just make up words and use them as verbs and nouns and adjectives)
However, Grim Angels have a special attribute that makes them susceptible to the power of the underworld.(I think this just means that they can die...or something)
(Well, the only time we've seen an angel defeated was by the power of the Gran Centurio, which gathered enough power to break the gods' bonds on a fallen angel, so it might be able to kill one too. Grim Angels die left and right at the end of Riviera, so uh...I dunno. The only other angelpunching happened as Marietta's choice in Kitten, probably some kind of exception.)

The connective areas linking the Underworld to the surface(worlds).
Demons use these gates to travel between surface worlds.
Demon Gods can create Hades Gates rather easily, however, they are only used to invade surface worlds.(that 'easily' might be a 'not easily', and that 'only used' might be a 'not only used'. The negative versions probably make more sense)
Riviera's gate is called a "Chaos Gate".

Although he was sealed in the Sealed Tower, fate brought Ein there to release him.(again, too many words to say simple things, could be worded slightly better)

King of Hell Hades (冥王ハーデス)

Showed up in "Knights in the Nightmare" during his final hours as the the three headed Zolgonark.(I dunno, I think they were trying to say that was his final appearance since he exploded)
However, even with diminished power he is near invincible.(might have fudged the meaning a little, not really ure what that part before 'power' is saying)
He suddenly appeared before Ein's group at the Hades Gate and blocked their path.(again, too many words to say simple things)

There is an ongoing internal dispute between the Joachim sect and Juvelon sect.
The coronation ceremony for Fantasinian royalty is always held in Welheim(the Holy Land).
(I'm not really sure if '教国' is 'parish' or whatever other words they used with Meria/ata/ant/whatever, so I'm leaving it as "parish" for now)

The Hero Gill (勇者ギル)

Something a little more backstory instead of what Ein did. They have no problem stating Eintachi's various adventures, but they're not always clear about things that happen outside of the games.

禁断の「不文律」の知識を入手したケイプホーンの部下イェルマが、冥府より召喚した魔神。
ピスチェを魔物に変えたり、守護天使すら手玉に取るあたりに、自らを「冥王」を称するだけの実力を持っていることが容易に想像できる。
しかし、このような魔神であっても、恐れる存在がいる。
それが「調停者」……つまりウィリムガルド王だ。

Demon god summoned from Hell by Yelma(Capehorn's subordinate), after obtaining(knowledge of?) the forbidden Unwritten Law.
He transformed Piche into a demon and conned the Archangel, so it's easy to see why he's called the "King of the Underworld".(had some bit about his power backing his title, but it sounded stupid and we all know he's dapowah)
However, there's something even this demon god is afraid of.
The "Arbitrator"...that is, King Wilmgard.

Mysterious Armor Clad Girl (鎧を纏いし謎の乙女)

ウィリムガリドの魂を古城より盗み出し、朽ちた教会にて彼を解放した謎の乙女。
その正体は、冥王ゾルゴナークにより「光」と「闇」に分離させられた、守護天使マリエッタである。
物語のなかで、彼女が「聖杖アンカルジア」を取り戻すことができるか否かによって、ストーリーの結末が大きく変化する。

Mysterious girl who stole Wilmgard's soul and released it in the abandoned church.
Her true form is the Archangel Marietta, whom Zolgonark divided into "Light" and "Dark".
Depending on whether or not you find her staff, "Ancardia", the ending can change considerably.

Messenger from heaven who sought forbidden power (禁断の力を欲した天からの使者)

After wandering the surface worlds restlessly, Marietta descended to look for something...
After leaving the heavens due to a report of an enormous tower(looming over the surroundings), Zolgonark was summoned from the Underworld.
She complained about her lack of self-supervision, and made a contract with the king of the Underworld to grant the power she was searching for.
Everything begins from here.

Formerly the Archangel, she absorbed Zolgonark's corpse after he was destroyed by "The Arbitrator" and evolved into...no, "mutated" into this.
A being created by the gods that has lost its original purpose, now the final battle begins.

すべての謎が明らかになるのは、まだまだ先の話かもしれない……。

Asgard supervises the many "Surface Worlds".
The characters introduced here only appear in a specific ending.
I wonder what Hector is reacting to this time.
And then, what is that artificial Grim Angel doing behind the scenes?
For all of these mysteries to become clear, there is still more backstory that needs telling...

Significance of "The Underworld" (「魔界」の意味)

シリーズの劇中には「魔界」という言葉が出てくるが、これは神々に対抗する”敵”が住むエリアを神界側が便宜上そう定義しているもので、特定の世界の名前ではない。
ストーリーにより異なるが、広大な冥府のごく一部を指すこともあれば、冥府全体を「魔界」と呼ぶこともある。

Over the course of the series something called "The Underworld" shows up; this is the area where the 'rivals' of the gods live(defined as something close to Asgard?), with no specific name.
It varies in the story, sometimes referring to a small part of a vast realm of the dead, the whole of this realm is referred to as "The Underworld".
(not sure about some of those 'sometimes's, and wording everything was annoying since they insisted on giant sentences)

Asgard: Dwelling of the Gods (神界:神々が住まう地)

ただし神々と呼ばれていた存在は、「神魔戦争」が原因で滅んでおり、現在は神々の代理者である「ゴートの七賢」たちが統治している。

However, the beings referred to as 'the gods'(having perished in "Ragnarok"), are their agents, the "Seven Magi", Asgard's current rulers.

(I'm not sure about '地上世界', because 'surface world(s)' would mean Heaven is part of the surface, which it doesn't seem to be according to that chart on 108.)

The connective area built between Asgard and the surface(worlds) to defend against intruders, the only area you can access Asgard from the surface.
This/these Heaven's Gate/s connect to the many surface worlds, making it possible for the residents of Asgard to interfere with any world.

Their duty is to intercept invaders should the Underworld attack.

Surface: Group of Worlds Created by the Gods (地上:神々が創造した世界群)

無数にある地上世界は、時間的にも空間的にも独立した「別次元」として存在している。
しかし、これらの世界の狭間には神々の想定していなかった「歪の世界」が生じており、そこの住人たちは複数の世界(次元)を行き来できるという能力を持っていることが判明している。

There are innumerable surface worlds, existing in "dimensions" independent of each other in time and space.
However, the gods did not predict that "irregular worlds" would be created in the space between these worlds, and it is said that the inhabitants of these(irregular) worlds possess the ability to travel between worlds(dimensions).

The Underworld: Infinite Stretch of Chaos (冥府:無限に広がる混沌)

世界の住人にとっても、無限に広がる宇宙のような場所という認識でしかない。
時として地上や神界への侵攻を企てる者も出現するが、冥府の住人たちすべてが敵対的というわけではない。
不明な点も多いが、冥府内での対立や抗争も起きていることから、一枚岩ではないことも読み取れる。

To the inhabitants of the world, it doesn't seem like an infinite stretch.
Sometimes they plan invasions of the surface(worlds) to get into Asgard, but not all of the inhabitants are hostile.
There are many unknown things about it, but with all of the fighting and internal disputes, information cannot be gleaned.

It is not unheard of for these creatures to appear on/in the surface(worlds).
However, in these cases the Archangels usually remove them before the acts of aggression can become public.

Dept. Heaven Race List : 1 Grim Angels (種族名鑑:1 告死天使)

神々が直接に創造した、戦闘行為に特化した天使族の一種。
神界を危機に陥れた事件「神魔戦争」の際に、戦闘能力の向上を目的として、神々の身体から血肉を分け与え、さらに叡智を託すことで創造された。
「神魔戦争」後には、神々が滅びたために生み出されていないはずだが、人工的な創造実験を秘密裏に行っている者がいるという噂もある。
天使としてはイレギュラーな存在で、肉体的なスペックが極めて高い反面、生命体として不安定というハンデも背負っており、彼らの稼働時間はとても短いという特徴がある。
そのため平常時は天使の柩殿で深き眠りについており、有事の際に覚醒させられるのだが、一度眠りに就いたあと二度と目覚めない告死天使も多いようだ。

A type of angel specializing in combat, created directly by the gods.
At the time Asgard was plunged into chaos by "Ragnarok", their goal was to improve their military capabilities, so the flesh and blood of the gods' bodies was distributed, and their wisdom imparted to create them.
Following "Ragnarok", the gods perished and shouldn't be making any more, however, it's rumored that someone is creating artificial ones through secret experiments.
These angels are irregular beings, and while their physical attributes are exceedingly high, they are burdened with physical instability, having very short WORKINGTIME/TIMESPENTACTIVE.
For this reason, they rest in angel caskets(or the angel cemetery thing), and are awoken in cases of emergency; however, once they fall asleep, most never wake up.

Details of the End of Ragnarok (神魔戦争の終結の経緯)

神々の滅亡後、暫定的に神界のリーダーとなった”ゴートの七賢”は、神々抜きでの継戦は得策ではないと判断した。
そこでリヴィエラの勝利を材料に交渉を行い、戦争を終結させることに成功する。
この停戦プロセスの成功により、彼らは神界内での発言力を強め、暫定だった「七賢政権」は、なし崩し的に正式化していくのだった。

After the gods perished, the interim leaders of Asgard, the "Seven Magi", decided continuing with the war wasn't worth it.
The conquest of Riviera gave way to negotiations, and successfully ended the war.
The ceasefire process was a success because, the leading influence in Asgard, the temporary "Rule of the Magi", formalized it without debate.
(may have missed some of the meaning with this one, since they used stupid grammar)

Riviera, Following the War (神魔戦争後のリヴィエラ)

戦争被害が比較的少なかったリヴィエラは、戦後美しい世界へと生まれ変わった。
しかし、もともと魔族の支配地であったために冥府との親和性が高く、とくにミレノ地下霊園の深部には冥府側からの干渉領域も残されている。

Riviera was not damaged much by Ragnarok, and became beautiful place after the war ended.
However, it was originally ruled by demons due to its high affinity with the Underworld, Mireno Cemetary's depths having been left an exceptionally large influence from it.
(not sure if it was talking about its pre-Ragnarok existence, though it was a little overrun with demons during the game...)

彼の名前は、使用するディヴァイン「神剣エクセリオン」に由来している。
これは告死天使とディヴァインの間には告死的な相性があるためで、彼が創造された際に、神剣と抜群のシンクロ率を発揮しため、剣の名前の一部を与えられたのである。

During the postwar period, the Seven Magi sent Ein to Riviera.
His name was used as the source of his Diviner's, the "Divine Sword Einherjar".
This Grim Angel and his Diviner had a very grim? affinity, which caused his sword to exhibit an extraordinary synchro rate, so he gave it part of his name.
(Japan still thinks it can make up words and use them as adjectives. That 'grim' is the 'Grim' part of 'Grim Angel', so it's probably just saying they are incredibly compatible)

It has the power to turn everything into nothing, but the full details of "The Retribution" are unknown.
However, it is shrouded in mystery in order to keep demons from obtaining it.

The Accursed (インフェルノス)

現在のリヴィエラは、”神罰” だけでなく ”インフェルノス” も封印されている。
彼らは、冥府の魔神とよばれる者たちが、自らの肢体を切り出して創造した、「冥府版·告死天使」のような上級魔族である。
ちなみに、魔族というものは、神界に敵対行為を起こす者たちの呼称で、冥府側では自分たちを魔族と称してはいない。
しかし、このインフェルノスという存在は冥府側で生み出されたものであり、両者共通の認識としてこの呼び名が使われている。

"The Retribution" is currently sealed in Riviera, but so are "The Accursed".
They are called "The Underworld's Version of Grim Angels", and are high ranking demons along with the demon gods of the underworld(although they're made from their body parts).
By the way, though these demon-like things raise hostilities towards Asgard, they aren't called demons around the Underworld.(may have fucked this one up)
However, as the Accursed were created near the underworld, they are recognized by this name.(also likely fuckinguppage)

How Asgard Seized Riviera (神界によるリヴィエラ掌握の方法)

冥府領域は、冥府との接触点である ”ハデスゲート” を封じた上で、神界側には二重のセキュリティとなる ”ヘヴンズゲート” を構築し、天使たちによる浄化作業を経て地上界となった。

Its contact point with the Underworld "Hades Gate" was sealed, the areas around Asgard doubled security in "Heaven's Gate", and the angels purified(whatever passed through?) the surrounding surface borders.
(probably talking about their actions during Ragnarok, and the steps they took to cut off Riviera from the Underworld)

精霊とは、地上世界のさまざまな自然物に宿る生命体の総称である。
世界の秩序と安定をもたらすため、また地上を構成する自然物の保護や監視、自浄などを目的に、天使たちにより浄化された「魔」がその起源とされている。
ドリアード種のように自然物と同じ機能を有する部位を持つものもいれば、ウンディーネ種やハルピュイア種のように、環境に適応した姿へと変化したものたちもいる。
多くの世界で、精霊はハイブリッド(混血種)や多様化が進む傾向にあり、それらは生物学上、すべて”精霊の進化”として扱われている。
例えばリヴィエラに現れたハイネという種族は、比較的新しい世代の精霊である。

森林や河川、鉱石などあらゆる自然物に対応する精霊が存在する。
希少なケースだが、純粋な魔族との混血種も確認されている。

The Sprites: general term for the variou life-forms that live within nature.
Their purpose is to bring about world order and stability, as well as protecting nature. They came about when the angels purified demons. (and that weird line about self purification)
In the way Driads somethingaboutfunctionsandidenticalstuff, along with Undine and Harpuia/Harpies, they can adapt their figures/physiology(?) to their surroundings.
In the many worlds, there's a tendency for Sprites to hybridize and diversificate. These have superior biology(?), and are called "The Evolution of Sprites."
For example, in Riviera there were the 'haine'?, a relatively new generation of sprites.
('haine' is apparently Lina's race; this was confusing and I don't think I got some things right)

Sprites are beings that interact with all natural things, such as forests, rivers, and crystals.
They're rare cases, but it's been confirmed there are hybrids with pure(?) demons.

リヴィエラとは異なり、こちらの「地上」は人間を主要種族とする、ごく普通の世界だ。
しかし、神魔戦争時に神に背くという罪を犯して堕天させれた”告死天使アリエス”がネシアと名前を変えてこの世界に潜伏したことで状況が変化する。
彼が神々への復讐を果たすことを目的に世界情勢へ繰り返し介入したことによって、地上は大きく混乱してしまうことになる。

While Riviera was unique, this "surface world" has humans as its main inhabitants, making it a very ordinary place.
However, the "Grim Angel Aries" committed some sin against the gods during Ragnarok and was 'felled'?, so he hid in this world and changed his name to Nessiah.
In order to enact revenge upon the gods, he repeatedly intervened in the world's affairs, causing widespread mayhem(around the world).

Fantasinian Kingdom (ファンタジニア王国)

ネシアから聖剣グラン·センチュリオを与えられた人物が、大陸の中央平野に建国した王政国家。
ファンタジニア王国の建国にネシアの直接的な意思は絡んではいないものの、結果としてこの国は彼の「神々への復讐」という目的に利用されることに。

Monarch country founded in the central plains of the continent, Nessiah gave these people the Gran Centurio.
Nessiah's goal in aiding the founding of this country was to carry out his "revenge against the gods".
(I liked it better when the sentences were short. 'はいないものの' showed up again and I'm not really sure what it means, but we all know what Nessiah wants)

Fallen Angel Aries = Hidden and Resurrected Nessiah (堕天使アリエス=ネシアの転生と潜伏)

堕天したアリエスは、次元の狭間に位置し神々の手が及ばない「ユミラ魔郷」に生まう者との契約を行う。
これは己の「瞳」よ引き換えに ”言の葉の力” を入手し、さらにその力で人間へと転生するというものであった。
さらに、もう片方の「瞳」を用いて、神々に付けられた枷を断ち切るためのツール、「グラン·センチュリオ」を創造することになる。
謎に包まれた「ユミラ魔郷」だが、現時点でそこで暮らす種族はユメール人であることと、この魔郷が神出鬼没の不思議魔女·パメラの出身地であることだけが判明している。

The gods cast Aries into the gap between dimensions as part of his 'fall', where he lived in the unreachable "Yumila Magic Village" and made a contract.
His one eye was exchanged for the "Power of Words", which allowed him to reincarnate as a human.
The other was used to create the "Gran Centurio", which would cut the shackles placed on him by the gods.
The "Yumila Magical Village" was shrouded in mystery(the village where the Yumil people live), but at least it's confirmed as (Mystic Witch?)Pamela's birthplace.(slightly better translation now that I realize what 謎に包verbending means)

Power the Gran Centurio Holds (力を蓄える聖剣グラン·センチュリオ)

建国以来、ファンタジニア王国の象徴となったグラン·センチュリオの正体とは、人々の負の感情を蓄積して力に変えるというツールであった。
ネシアは、自分の本来の肉体を封じ込めている枷を絶つのに十分な力を得るため、転生を繰り返しながら長きに波り王国や周辺国家を戦乱の渦に巻き込んできたのだ。
なお、憎悪の念が蓄えられたグラン·センチュリオは神威ともいえる力を発揮するが、神が作り出したものではないので神々における「ディヴァイン」に位置する存在ではない。

The symbol of the Fantasinian Kingdom since its founding, it has accumulated negative emotions as power.
Nessiah can sever the shackles that bind him once enough power is obtained, so he reincarnates throughout history and throws the surrounding countries into a vortex of wars.
The feelings of hatred stored in the Gran Centurio are said to exhibit the power of the gods, but it's not a "Diviner" created by them(since they dead).

Demon Dragon Brongaa and Mountain Worshiping Religion (魔竜ブロンガと山岳信仰)

ネシアの強大な魔力に惹きつけられて地上に現れ、世界に深刻な被害を与えた上位魔族が「魔竜ブロンガ」の正体だ。
ネシアは、ブロンガの存在が神々の地上介入を招くことを恐れ、1人の青年に ”勇者ギル” の言の葉の力を授けてこれを鎮圧させた。
ギルとブロンガの最終決戦の地となった地では、土着の山岳信仰とブロンガの存在が結びつき、魔竜を荒ぶる神とみなす信仰が始まる。
ブロンキア帝国の始祖は、この信仰心を皇族の血筋に向かわせて人心を掌握し、一大帝国を築くことになる。

The Demon Dragon Brongaa was drawn to Nessiah's incredible magical abilities, and materialized in the surface world to wreak havoc.
Nessiah, fearing the dragon's presence would cause the gods to intervene, granted a youth known as "The Hero Gill" his power of words in order to subjugate it.
The land around Gill and Brongaa's final battle was full of indigenous mountain-worshiping people, who came to regard the dragon as a malevolent god in their faith.
The Bronquian Empire's founder carried this religious piety through the royal family, leading the empire to flourish.
(long and full of words, but most of the meaning should be there. I don't really know what they want from "mountain worshiping religious people", and I can't remember what the people in Lost Aries were called)

Dept. Heaven Race List : 3 Guardian Angels (種族名鑑:3 守護天使)

守護天使とは、神々の祝福により特別な素質を与えられた”天使族”の一種である。
彼女たちの主な任務は、神界兵と連携して、神界の最終防衛線である「ヘヴンズゲート」を哨戒することである。
守護天使だけに限らず、天使たちは神界でのみ生み出される存在で、一度創造された天使は、たとえ神々であろうと抹消することはできない。
彼ら天使が”死ぬ”のは、神界が消滅したときが、告死天使や上位魔族など特別な力を有する存在に倒された場合のみとなる。
そのため、天使創造という行為は、神界でも最重要検討項目の1つとされ、これにより生み出された天使には神々への絶対的忠誠が要求された。
万が一、天使が重大な問題を起こした場合、力を剥奪または封印して神界から追放する”堕天”という方法で断罪されることになる。

ユグドラたちがヘヴンズゲートで遭遇した守護天使マリエッタは、今作「ナイツ」で犯した罪により堕天することになる。
そして別次元であるリヴィエラの世界で冥府の者と関わることで、上位魔族のインフェルノスへと変異し、エクセルたちの前に現れるのだ。

Guardian Angels: a certain kind of "angel" given special qualities by the gods.
These(girls') primary function are to, coordinating with the forces of Asgard, patrol "Heaven's Gate," Asgard's last line of defense.
(Not restricted to just the Guardian Angels)Angels can only be created by the gods, although once created, even the gods can't destroy them.
In order to "kill" these angels, Asgard must fall, or they must be defeated by Grim Angels or high ranking demons and such with that sort of power.
For that reason, the act of creating angels is a decision that's given the utmost thought in Asgard, and absolute loyalty to the gods is demanded of them.
In the event where a serious problem is caused by them, judgement is passed and their powers are revoked or otherwise sealed, and they're exiled from Asgard in a process called "falling."

Yggdra and friends encountered the guardian angel Marietta at Heaven's Gate, and commits a sin in this work Kitten that will get her fall'd.
And then she shows up in another dimension (in Riviera) affected by someone from the underworld, having been transformed into a high ranking demon's Accursed, appears before Ein's group.
