you guys sure know Red Dead Redemption, sure you guys know God of War.

not that you guys like those games, me either, but, how much do you pay for them at ahm~ let us say Gamestop?

now now, ill give you a piece of what is to be a gamer at this hell people call Brazil.

at wallmart here, those games are selling for R$159,92. in dollars how much is this?

exactly USD$90.6905, in short 90.69 bucks.

how much do you pay for the same game at wallmart there?

$56.54 for red dead redemption, and i assume thats without the taxes, but who cares? its not like you guys are going to pay 80% of the original price right? plus the other ones;

$89.82 for the ULTIMATE edition of god of war, not the regular one. hmm.

now how much is this i brazil reais?

red dead would go for R$99.70
R$158.38 for the ULTIMATE edition of god of war.

PLUS THE 80% OF TAXES PLUS THE GHOST TAXES.

im not trying to say " STUPID AMERICANS, STOP SAYING THAT GAME IS EXPENSIVE! COME TO BRAZIL AND FEEL THE PAIN! " no, im not, although it may look like.

im just trying to show you guys, how things are harsh here at the south hemisphere.

taxes taxes taxes taxes taxes, this country is really a expensive one to live, even more as a gamer :(

SOMEONE SAVE ME!

Games used to go for $90 in America too. It would depend on the retailer. It was only when games became a very standard medium that the prices were reduced and normalized (they would go for $100+ and less than $20 brand new).

I wouldn't be surprised if something happened to the prices because of "herpderp used game sales kill the vidya economy" etc being used as an excuse.

Then again thats sort of a stretch. There's so much crap being flung around the video game market that its ridiculous.
