Apparently it's a remake of Lufia II, I don't like Max's jacket but otherwise it looks good.

So it does say that it's a remake of Lufia II but other than the Fortress of Doom, Gades, and a Maxim who has been given a new design which makes him lose all of his personality and uniqueness and which depresses me I don't see any connections here...

The only change that annoys me is the switch from turn based to action RPG.

I blame Square Enix for this.
