I've been curious ....aside from Archangel, which can really rape if you give her the chance to break out...does it seem like all of the accursed seem to...be rather weak, with Isher and Death being surprisingly weak, unless this is from leveling up with any weapon, accessory and fruit that i come across, which i did, but it is rather strange that all but 2 of the accursed were rather weak and even without the use of crests/emblems to buff my resistance to their elements, physical power or whatever ....

Tell me...is it from training, or the difference between the GBA and PSP versions because... i really want to know

All of the bosses in the game are weak if you're properly prepared. Archangel is the easiest one for me - you people just need to get with Iria's Bow.

Hector was, for some reason, my hardest boss fight.
Archangel was also the easiest for me, I didn't even let her use her break out.

I'd have to agree. The majority of bosses were plain pathetic, heck, I found few common enemies to be hard.

Oh yeah, it's totally the training. Relatively high stats can probably make you go, "pfft, I spent three to seven minutes on that cheapwad?"

In a nutshell, it is either rinse and repeat, make every shot count, and bringing the right inventory/characters. That's how simple it was.

Agreed. All it takes to level up for it is only seven minutes (in my experience, with everyone). And Mithril Swords are your friend. Nuff said.

I suppose the real challenge fo this game comes from trying to get S ranks from battles. I have found that to be a challenge at times as I only got the spear, bow, and scythe from the accursed.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, most of my frustration comes from Isher and his cheap ability to block random attacks. I once had a moment where he slowly killed my entire party where I only actually hit him once. More of a bullshit loss than a regular one, but it was Isher who made me stop my S run for a while.

Mm Isher wasn't that bad to be honest, if you can get a hit from the Ignis Spear to connect then you're pretty much golden

or one would hope...anyway, surprisingly the dark progenitor versions were the closest things to a dangerous opponent since....the bomber kids which...almost actually killed me....stupid break out >.> and...actually dark angel was the only one that actually got my hp to half....before i gained that back of course

ehh...it's sad, but whatever, i guess it'd be more of a challenge to just level everyones personal weapons for themselves and noone else and jut go on through the game hoping you don't die from a slime attack or whatever ....awhich isn't actually a bad idea

Yeah, but when he just blocks it every time I try it, it just gets old and annoying. Not to mention there's a fight before him I wanna S rank every time. Again, he's the reason I put my S rank run on hold.

I don't remember why exactly, but I became convinced that the Ignis Spear sucked after my latest playthrough. Something about missing, dealing with guarding, and the damage just not being worth it anyway. I'd rather just use a Rosier overskill on him, honestly. :(

Ah yes...well atleast there are only 3 monsters that have shields, which are the most annoying acc. that any enemy can have....in which case, atleast you only have to deal with those 3 kinds of monsters I.E. Knights, Undead and...well Isher

Ignis Spear is good against monsters that have a weakness to fire and sadly and can deal a decent amount of damage to some bosses, atleast 400 to someone like Isher and...well considering that you're so bloody weak in that part of the game so 400 damage to a 1000 HP enemy is pretty decent...and you might as well use it on Isher so it doesn't waste space

also..i guess against some bosses, you just need luck

That reminds me... I get the feeling that this game is self-aware/perceptive or something like that. Like "come on, I want Ledah to score all 4 hits", but he ends up scoring 2 slashes or missing the pierce shot. Same kind of feeling whenever I want to hit Isher but he gets all tacky.

In all that is cheese and crackers, it makes me think the developers said "Hey, let's alter the code or add this chip to the cartridge so it can tell the feelings of the player and make the game based off of them!" <- Not.
